Would you please clear me how can you calculate your point as 44 and how will it be increased in 54. And QB will reject the application before you reach the applying point which is 49 w/o adaptability.

First of all thanks for your reply.

Below are the details:
Education - 10 points - btech in India electronics & communication -
Experience - 4.3 years - 8 points - working for software companies
Age - 27 - 16 points
Ielts - 4 points
Full time work exp in Montreal for 6 months - 5 points
Self sufficiency - 1 point
Total 44 points

Will write ielts again in these 10 months & get 2 more points
Will write tecfa in these 10 months & will get 8 points b1 level
Will reach 54 points
And 1 point in interview.

This is my plan.

Now I am totally confused, one of my friend applied on mar 2012 & even he didn't meet 49 points. Still he got aor, now he is writing both ielts & delf a1 exams.

How u seen any cases, where the application is rejected with in 2 months.
Because aor has to be issued in 2 months. Once aor is issued they charge the money of $750.
So if I think logically, charge the money in 2 months & follow the processing timings.

As per the processing time, when the application comes, they ask for proofs by giving 2 months.
If we are not able to provide proof, means it able to reach 49 points, application is rejected.
If 49 points met, call for interview.

Dear Friend,

I saw you complete profile and found that you can apply as per current criteria but cannot file your case because your are not fall under AOT group A, B or C nor getting AOT points 16, 12 or 6.

You can apply after 31 March 2013 if they do not change criteria.

You are referred to GPI-3 page # 57, there is minimum points score for single applicant is 42 and married is 50 for interview an applicant need need 49 and 57 respectively as well as for getting CSQ 55 and 63 respectively.

Don't be late, file your case as soon as possible later on submit your French results before interview because you'll never get much time for interview your interview will come up may be in 6 months:-

You are in Group 1 if you are temporary worker currently residing in Quebec see as below:-


Group 1
Applicants fall into Group 1 if they fulfill one or more of seven criteria. An unlimited number of applications from Group 1 will be accepted for processing by Quebec Immigration. The following individuals are eligible to apply:

1. Temporary workers currently residing in Quebec

2. Students who have obtained, or are about to obtain, a diploma awarded by a Quebec institution

3. Young people in Quebec on a youth exchange program subject to an international agreement, such as the Working Holiday Program, who are working full time in Quebec

4. Applicants residing in and submitting an application to Quebec who were formerly Canadian citizens

5. Applicants who have already been informed by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) that they are admissible for PR processing.

6. Applicants, or their spouses, who hold a diploma awarded by a teaching institution in an area of training (field of study)which allows them to receive 12 or 16 points on the province’s selection grid

• The diploma must be obtained less than five years before the date of application, or the applicant must have practiced in this field on a full-time basis for at least one of five years preceding the date of application.

• Areas of training may receive different points depending on whether the degree was obtained inside or outside of Quebec.

Pls suggest, if this can be achieved.

javeed is honoured lol proud completed 2 years, me too 4 weeks ill complete 2 years.

cases in our BIQ difficult, even after CSQ you have to wait 3-5 years for medical and visa.

It depends on the learner. But if you will go for the TCFQ(TCFAQ) / TEFAQ then it may be possible according to your study time. Though you can understand some basic french, you can learn quickly. But it would be better if you do this within 4 month, because as soon as you do the exam so quickly you can achieve the French score and your file will be completed. And that will force your application.

It was easier to speak chinese instead ;D
