Apparently they only accept the actual DELF/DALF diploma, if you send the attestation or something else they will refuse your application.

m81, you mean the BIQ did not even accept your application without the Test Scores? That's weird, because Test results take some time to come.
You will need to re-apply after you receive your scores I believE?

They sent me my application package back along with a letter stating that my 'original' french test score was missing (even though I gave original attestation). They did assign a reference number for the fact that I applied, but not an official application number. So yes,I did the TCFQ last week because I dont want to wait for my DALF diploma (no idea when it will be delivered). I should have my TCFQ results at the end of the month, and as soon as I get, I will resend my application.

ok i will send u a link for it or send you through drop box. and can you please tell that i have done DELF A1 & A2 in june 2012 and i will probably get the attestation of result in august end. can i apply with this in november and after getting the diploma (after some months) i will update my status?

Regards,

I tried that, and they sent my application back when I included the original attestation in it. I advise you to take TCFQ, you get your results in about 20 days.

I got mine in about one month and a half.

for someone who sent the application before dec 2011, does the ielts and delf exam requirements apply
retroactively?
just curious to know if anyone else is on the same boat with me..

Regards,

Yes I received the attestation from "République Francaise, Ministere de l'éducation nationale, de l'enseignement supérieur et de la recherche", "Commission nationale du DELF et du DALF". The attestation is signed by the president of the jury and has all the information regarding the exam center, my personal info, session date and scores.

You can still send your attestation, but if I were you, I would think about a backup in case they send your application package back (I received mine back a month later).

Usually for TCFQ, it's 20 days, but up to a month when there is some delay

Yes, you always can do that. But try to inform them as early as possible. it adds few points for kids.

good luck

Your certificate will usually be available approximately 20 days after you took the TCF for Quebec. You should collect it from the test centre at which you took the TCF for Quebec examinations.

At the same time, the CIEP will send your results to the Ministry of Immigration (MICC) in Quebec directly. You should still include your certificate in your immigration application, even if the Ministry has your results.
