yes, sure i would share the details of the letter with u all. when i had sent my application dec2011 i had mentioned on a stamped paper that i will be enrolling for thefrench classes in jan 202 and wil send them the results as soon as i amdone with the delf exams. then, i had sent my ielts " academic" along with my application. received AOR in jan 2012 andthen after that i received this letter which u r referring to as " strange" hehe! i will tell u the summary of the letter. it basically said that they r in need of my frnch and ielts marks sheet. in which case i assumed that they r not accepting my ielts academic and want ielts general. so i gave my ielts general and once i got my delf marks i sent itto them. coming to the letter,it also said they are giving me 6 months time to submit delf and ielts and if i fail to submit within 6 months they will be"OBLIGATED " to close my file.

let me know if u need to ask me anything else. aapreciate all the help dude. thanks!

Questions:

1. As per the online test on Quebec we are eligible for QSWP, but request your expert review and advise if profile would get a chance?
2. Do i need to apply for Fingerprint in all embassies? when it is required?
no, you wont need to get fingerprinted in all the embassies.
3. Just started with French language, any good source which you could suggest?
alliance francais is your best bet. Michel Thomas, Pimsleur, Rocket French are also good for self-study & developing conversational skills.
4. What is minimum level for me to complete in French?
there is no mandatory minimum level, but a B1 level is good to achieve. for practical purposes & for points
5. Is it mandatory for both of us (me and my wife) to take the French test?
not mandatory, but you get lots of points for french. the more the merrier.
6. What is considered a good score in IELTS, is it only points we get based on the bands?
yes, points are based on bands.
The list is not yet exhaustive, as you all might have gone through this phase already. Can you please help me with this information?

Thanks in advance for putting efforts for providing me this information.

Regards,
Segu
Apologies for cross posting, i haven't seen this post can help.

Canada was named by the Indians, it's an Indians word, when the settles came they met the Indians who said to them "Canada" which mean we have nothing.

The word was "Kanata", Cartier wrote it "Canada", it means village. Kébec means "where the river narrow", a "Détroit", in french.

can not say how long it will take, as they have updated the processing times and for BIQ HK, many countries are not having any selection mission presently.

Hello All,

Today, I had received my TEFAQ results which are as follows:

B1 ( Speaking)
A1 ( Listening)

NOTE:-

For all those people who are preparing for TEFAQ must put serious hard work for listening, as it is very difficult and they talk too fast which is quite difficult for non natives.

I wish all of you very best of luck!!!!

yes its very important tax to prove experience, when you get you interview they will send you email asking for it.

Send proof for all required & claimed points with french...

you will have chance for interview waiver, or your interview will be just a picnic ;)

Hi lemans207 & All,

Actually I didn't claim any point of French Language. However, I still believe to hit 60+ Points in total. Do you think I will have chance of getting my interview waived off? Or going in to the interview and fighting for their 6 points of to make it to more than 63 is going to be absolutely necessary?

In downtown Montreal rare to find someone speaks french, all speaks english. for sure they cant survive with french, business language is english, in future will become chao chi ti tong chinese ;D
hollywood projects media in montreal. services companies , sales , they need english to sell federal.

let them declare is quebec as country,,,, in 1970s they wanted to seperate. now quebec 7+ million

in canada french will die
, no way to survice lol

It's still going on, they want Québec a separate country. Most of the Québec people call themselves "Québecois" not "Canadien".

As far as french is concerned, you will find strict rules for french language in future. French language will not die in Québec.....

Finally i got my medical request

Dear Seniors,

I have one question here....

As I have completed My DELF A1 & A2 before 2 years ago in 2009.As per the rule point will not be given if reluts are more than 2 years old.Without counting DELF point I reach upto 56 points.(I have TCF exam in 21 November 2012.)

So, My question is

1)When they will decide to reject the file or accept for further process at the time of file number or later when they open our file for assessment?

2)If I will submit the file with 56 point and attach the TCF exam receipt they will give file number or they directly reject the file.

It will not die for sure, because samauel de champlain in 1608was who came as from soldier from france and who drew the map of quebec

They had lot of wars, its 200% a french city, king luis of france send army & they had lot of wars with king william from USA

Don't forget I am from francophone country we studied the history of france ;)
