If the degree is acquired from outside quebec, It also depends on the country from which it is studied.
As for example, in philippines there are 2 bachelors degree in nursing. One with 4 yrs and another with 3 yrs. So we need to see the degrees comparitif chart for finding equivalent quebec degree.
But mostly all priority AOT such as nursing, chemistry, aviation & aerospace engg, biochemistry, probability & statistics will be a part of Group 1.

With this new change of groups: please guide me and my husband (principal applicant) for the code in which we will come ap per groups

My husband (PRINCIPAL APPLICANT) completed his CPA (CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANT-ie, American Chartered Accountancy) from USA in 2008 after his B.Com (1998) from mumbai. He is pursuing profession related to his field of study (CPA) from last 5 yrs.

Also he has done CISA (CERTIFIED INFORMATION SYSTEMS AUDITOR)-a profession to audit IT department in every company in 2010 but certificate is awaited, n experience is less thn 1 yr in this field till now.

He is working as senior audit manager (internal audit) in a bank from last 3 yrs.

Also I (spouse) completed my MBA (in HUMAN RESOURCES) from IGNOU IN 2011. But no work experience. As per the given link i score 3 points as spouse,also does that mean tht MBA from ignou comes under group 1. please confirm for me from the link for training which you only provided for india.

PLEASE GUIDE US FOR THE TRAINING CODES and GROUP WE COME UNDER.

but for new quebec selection application-skilled worker form (pt 5 and pt 6) do we need to write the codes from the group 1 or group list (as per given on the quebec immigration website). Please help to find CODES for CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT & MBA (in HR) from IGNOU in the group1 & group2 list as we have to fill the same in the new forms.

I could not find code for CA (code for B.com is given but what about CA, how to find code for them)

and in same way MBA from IGNOU (I could not find code for it) but code for Bachelors in mgt & admn is given

Hi guys,

Can someone please answer my question? I have a Bachelor in Economics of Commerce (4 yrs, full time) and a Master’s in accounting (1.5 yrs, distance learning) from outside of Quebec.
I am wondering if that degree will enable me to apply under CSQ as the degree that’s in Group1 - Gestion de commerces (DEC - 3 ans) is on college level and the number of yrs in order to obtain it is 14, while I've done 16 yrs study to asquire my Bachelor's. Can they return my application as the level of my education is higher than the required, but the major is the same?? What do you think?
