Hi siddharth_pharma84,
Pls check the new list for Group1 isseued by quebec immi which will be applicable from 20th january, if it is approved by quebec national assembly. there is no new AOT list issued by quebec immigration. they have just written the old list in new format and new style and divided into different groups. although list is same

Link: http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/publications/fr/divers/domaines-12-16.pdf

Check on page 3, raw 3, there you will find pharmacie et sciences pharmaceutiques (BACC-4 ans).
This is your degree and it is in Group 1 list.
AOT falls in group 1 list if he has done pharmacy degree in Quebec not in any foreign country.

Hello All

I just found out that the POLICE CLEARANCE REPORT is valid for 1 year!!!

I saw it on the document check list for provisional norminee and Quebec selected workers
and its the item number 14!!!

Hello Seniors/Friends,
I am new on this forum and planning to apply for Quebec Immigration and need your help and advice as so far I am quite confused on points system. My brief profile is as follow:

Highest Degree : Masters (1 Year UK)
Bachelors in IT (4 years) [Computer Science category]
Age: 25
Experience 2 years relevant experience
Language: IELTS band 7 - Know basic French but had a intention to appear for French language test

Spouse
Highest Degree : Masters (1 Year UK)
Bachelors in IT (4 years) Computer Science
Age: 25
Experience 1-1/2 years relevant experience
Language: IELTS band 7 expired 2009- Knows basic French but had a intention to appear for French language test

We could not calculate points as we are not quite sure but according to my calculations our points are as followed:

Education : 24 ---> 12 Masters +12 Training (Computer Science graduation)
Age : 16
Experience: 6 2+ years exp
Language : 4 [IELTS] overall Band 7 --listening 7 , speaking 7
Spouse
Education : 6 -----> Masters 3 + 3 Training Computer Science graduation
Age : 3
language : 0

Total: 59 Do we qualify ?? and how language score works like will we get 4 points or 6 as band is 7.
If someone could clarify points
1- for our education and language
2- can we send our application for certificate and then appear for french language test or is it mandatory to appear in langauage test?
3- Is it necessary that degree/diploma should be from Quebec?

please correct me if i am wrong in my calculations

I will really appreciate if someone could advice us.
Best Regards

Helllo Everyone

Please, if you are an applicant who submitted and in process for CSQ -Selection, YOU DONT
NEED TO BE WORRIED....Files are processed based on the RULES on ground when you applied
that is how is done 100%, But those who applied or are received after the implementation
of the NEW RULES, will follow suits...

Please STAY POSITIVE MINDED and EVERYTHING WILL BE ALRIGHT!!!...Please!, Please!, Please!.

hi siddharth_pharma84, previously also this same question is discussed by you...
And I am afraid to say, things have not changed much for your case...
I overlooked the foreign degree title in this new list, so suggested pots of AOT for you.
Pls see the below post for AOT points of Pharmacy degree, you will not get any points for AOT for Bachelors of Pharmacy. It is not in group 1 as well as group 2 list.
Thanks francaise for your suggestion. :)

Dear Hussen please don't misguide the forum members,

Pharmacy 4 years foreign degree is in section E and has 0.
This was debatable in the past too but please make sure whatever we write should satisfy the member's need.

thanks

Hey rasein
Sincerely speaking no one can actually give you the exact specifics of the question to know. Its all depends on God purpose for you. I just read in another forum today were NY-office rejected a guy CSQ yesterday because he short fall of 2 points...It depends on PURE GOD'S FAVOUR...my own interview was basically in English Lang and the interviewer was very very friendly, although I speak French and other languages, immediately he talked to me in French and I started discussing back with him in French, (about my journey from my state to NY, the weather in my state, sports that l enjoy and my work experiences) I think he was very comfortable and he switch to English for the rest part...He never corrected my pronouciation because l was fluent...But l read in some cases in this forum where the interviewer were so mean!!!...So my friend, try to do your best in speaking and listening and leave the rest unto God...FRENCH language carry more magnitude in this interview process...But try to be relax about it...dont tense yourself up...ok?

Hi, NOC codes have been updated and new NOC list NOC 2011 is now effective.
Pls check below link:

www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/noc/english/noc/2011/NewNOC.aspx

So, because of this change in NOC codes, your friend might have got different Certified Job Description when he filed his application for qsw, since your friend may have mentioned NOC code as per old list, which may corresponds to some other CJD in new NOC 2011 list.

Say for ex. My NOC code as old list is 4131 which is now 4021 as per this new list NOC 2011.

Mskhah Buddy,

It that It doesn't matter if my fried has changed his Certified Job Description?

Does the CIO keep copy of our recent files even if it is withdrawn?

Thank you!

I think Francaise is quite right they just divided old 2009 AOT List in to groups 1,2,3. But the main thing i think we should know that the preference is given to the education taken in Quebec as compare to foriegn country. As well as priority treatment is same as it was in 2009 the new thing the Immigration introduces the limiting the number of Applications for foriegn country which means that they dont require any more skill labour from countries other than canada.

Guys please correct if i am wrong.

thanks
