hi lirjan,
thats is something very practical and time-saving.. :)

but in case of BIQ HK, and for applications sent from India, they use regular post only for all communication...
such as I received my AOR dated 11.11.11 by post on 24th or 25th NOV so it took 15 days for me to get AOR in hand, till that time I was just wondering if my file was opened or not.... :)

Any experienced here with e-mail correspondence option with the visa office? I mean there is an option on the forms where it say that you can authorize the Canadian Embassy to use E-mail contact for the updated information that came usually by mail to your e-mail.

I thought this can be more practice and effective because there are 3 mails that come to you until visa will be issued, 1 the AOR, 2 the Medicals and 3 the visa, and if you calculate the time it takes which is 10 days from Rome Office which is my Federal office to my home, and 10 days from your home to the office equal 20 days x 3 = 60 days. You profit 2 Months, nothing bad. We profit 2 Months in this case using e-mail instead of mail.

Any experience with E-mail correspondence?

Hello friends,

Is there any cutoff marks to get points for DELF exam yes, there are cutoff marks. For each of the four sections in DELF exams you should score minimum 5 out of 25 marks in each section to pass the exam.
Also overall score should be 50 or above out of 100 to pass the exam
or they simply assign the below marks, if he/she only pass the exam?

As mentioned in the guide :

DELF A1: 2

DELF A2 :6

DELF B1: 8

DELF B2 :12

Thanks

Hi! I thought of making this post to gather all the useful links that usually we ask about in the forum.
Most of these links are already in some post in the forum but I guess it is useful to just click here and check what we need. I encourage you all to add more links that we may need.

Hi friends

Just wanted to know

-After filing for CSQ..the BIQ authorities take an interview. Is this interview taken only in the candidates home country..??

-Is it possible to inform the BIQ authorities in advance for a possible visit to the BIQ office (Hong Kong in my case) at the candidates personal expense for faster processing of visas.

Kindly share your views..!!

as far as i know, BIQ decides it self where to schedule the interview. in my case, the option was only HK. you dont need to inform them anything.

and dont worry, if you are called to hongkong, it will be totally on ur own expense ;)

Dear all

Pls I would like to know if any1 has received a mail printed 'Prioritaire' on the envelop from BIQ Paris.A friend's CC form was returned and Priority was printed on the envelop in red ink.Does this mean dat his application is under Priority treatment. For ur consideration,he has B.Sc. Sociology;Professional qualificatns (Associateship)in Banking,Management and Marketing all qualifications from Nigeria with over 4yrs experience in Banking and Stockbroking coy in marketing positions.I would appreciate ur response.
Thanx in advance

Thanks mkshah for your reply. Yes, this rule I know. I have already cleared DELF A2 exam. But my question is that if I get less than 16 in Comprehension Orale and Production Orale section of DELF exam, they will not assign me 6 points for passing DELF A2 exam? Because in immigration Guide it is mentioned that

Priority is type of mail - regular (slower) and priority (faster) - stamp on the envelope reffers to postal service, not application itself

Hi All!

I need your help about my CSQ application. I read the instructions carefully, but I don't know if there is any option for those who are in the process of learning French and do not own any certificate of French knowledge. Could you also tell me if there is any other document I need to submit with the form except the payment slip?

Thank you and good luck to all of you!

Hi alll, Anyone can please help me in this ?

I would like to know that when i'm filling Contract respecting financial self-sufficiency along with my quebec immigration application.
Then how can i show my cash at bank. Is it mandatory to show in the form of Fixed deposit or i can show it into any form like fixed deposit for 1 year or 2 years only. please explain
i know that i have to show minimum CD$2,800 (i'm principal applicant and no child).

1) if i have to attach a copy of Fixed deposit then how much about the duration for Fixed deposit?
2) i have to notarized my fixed deposit documents also or only bank letter is sufficient?

Please advise, i would be highly thankful to all member. IF anyone from india, who applied to Hongkong office recently can share that would be really helpful for me. because i think every BIQ office is having their own way to calculate.

Seniors, I have a question:

Does how fact one receives the AOR has anything to do with being part of the priority list? or AOR just depends on how fast or slow the BIQ is in sending AORs?

Any ideas ?
