my interview is next week Wednesday. I only speak basic french though i read quite well.. My wife doesnt speak that much.

I found the QUESTIONNAIRE PREPARATION FOR MAINTENANCE OF IMMIGRATION IN QUEBEC prepared by senior forum members. These are almost 95 % of the questions that officers ask you during the interview for Quebec.
It is good when you have references of what is will be asked on the interview.

I think your consultant is playing with it. We cant say anything about Adaptability till the Interview date

I just submitted my application and I guess, I will be eligible for priority processing (Bachelor's in Aeronautical Engg). One question, did they mention in your AOR that your application would be prioritized? I am just trying to map my timelines and any feedback would be appreciated.

It seems, it took you about a year to get your CSQ if the time lost due to "Intention to Refuse" letter is excluded.

Thank you for your wishes! No, they didn't mention anything about priority processing in the AOR, just in the CSQ. Well that intention to refuse letter did change everything.... I must've thought like a million times what would've happened if last year in June instead of getting the intention to refuse letter, I had gotten the letter saying that I'm in the interview waiting list! Oh well.....guess everything happens for a reason! Good luck with your application!

About french level. Believe me I'm also 'computer science' engineer and I'm still at level A1. But, in order to survive and get job easily in Quebec you have to reach to B1 level atleast.

By the way, why do you want to go to consultant? cant you just follow simple procedures and apply on your own? you will get 100% genuine assistance for 100% free in this forum..

total=18+16+8+4+8+4=58 Points if you are done with A1 then you will get 60 points i think so there are chance u might get the CSQ

I noticed they are refusing all applicants with A1/A2 who dont complete 55/63 points without adaptability :'(

I am sure 100%, thats if your not Priority, even if priority there are a lot B1+ french

I've met many were refused from all countries, they want the best of the best,10000s of applications

Take my advise unless you are happy with replies that tells ... go on you will get it ;D

would you like to tell what happened with your TCFQ test ?

Actually I have answered all the questions but with long time gaps. Because before the exam I have got only 3 months 4 the preparation. In the exam I have forgot some vocabularies and that makes me nervous and I forgot every things.

But I believe that I will do better than this if I sit for the exam again. So is it really good if i sit for that again in september. because my wife will sit for the tcfq at that time.

And though i have received AOR on 21 mar 2012 , Are the HK office give me the change to update my points later. My wife's French result is not shown till now.

So as your assumption i have
current point : 58
+ TCFQ : 2
Wife's TCFQ : 1
Total = 61 (without the point of adaptability)

I have seen that one can apply for CSQ with family with 57 points (without point of adaptability ) & with point of adaptability 63.
