Hi Everyone,

Need to ask a question..

Do we really need to send work certificate docs for spouse.?..As it is mention on the point system that spouse work experience is 0 point. My spouse cannot get work certificate from his previous company. If we never include his work certs and only letter of employment docs , can our application be affected?

Appreciate your clear response for this. Thanks

In my opinion and from experience, the letters/documents of employment, promotion, salary review, etc will do, though it might count to zero with application but when it comes to the interview stage it will help score more for the adaptability part becuase it will serve as a proof of chances of one of the couples securing a job upon arrival in Quebec.

Hi All

Another question that I want to ask...I will be going 36 this Sept 2012, does it affect my age point if I send my application this month.
In the point system 35 still 16 points but if your age is 36 the point is 14. If they received my application before my birth date what point they will carry out then. I want to know the effectiveness of their preliminary review once they recieve your application especially in this case.

Hello
They based thier preliminary review on the rules/laws that is/was applicable on the very day your application was recieved by them. I was in your similar situation during my CSQ. They got my application 6 days before my birthday, and l did my interview 4mths after that, and I still got my full points ...SO DON'T WORRY, You are good 2 go!!!

I agree with u to not to submit original and its no where written but some members here on this forum been told that they dont accept copies. Secondly im receiving this lettet for the second time first i receive was in 2011 and second letter last week where i have already sent the copies. I dont know what they want when i have submitted and one thing more the copies which i have sent was not attested and notarized. Share ur feedback guys..thanks

Hey Vicky, so sorry about your situation, but I think you should send the original document.
I had my entire application along with my documents returned to me because they are saying that I didnt provide "Original d'un diplôme ou d'une attestation de résultat d'un test....en français."

I did put the "Attestation de Réussite" received from the Commission Nationale du DELF et du DALF, so I guess I have to wait until the Diploma is sent to me, and send the Original version.

Just to be safe, and not knowing when the Diploma will be sent, I will be taking the TCFQ next month. I believe the results are sent about 20 days after the exam. This way I'll at least have a back up solution.

I hope this helps. It is quite frustrating, but I think there is still time, so no worries.

Inshallah it's all going be fine.

Bonjour mes amis
Est-ce qu'il y a quelqu' un qui a le meme problem? ::)
