darshmodi !

dude, you need to relax. your file is obviously getting looked at (since you have received a request for the BC) the final authority on the points is the BIQ themselves. how much ever we do and redo the calculations, we cant be 100% sure. you've taken the initiative to apply, now its a waiting game.

keep a rough time of 1 yr for the interview. none know this for sure either. its all guesses.

so, ek chai peelo, aaraam karo. dont think abt this too much and bheja fry !! :)

hows ur french coming on ?

Vibez !

CONGRATULATIONS Egrace. It is a well deserved victory. Like i always say "@ His own time, He make all things beautiful to them that love Him and are the called according to His purpose". 8) ;D.

Wishing you success as you embark on this life transforming venture to your new home. I hope we will continue to have your very useful inputs in the months ahead.

As for me, it is still same story. No update whatsoever since Dec other than the draft that was cashed.

egrace, congragulations. You have been overwhelming with your responses. Wishing you all the very best :)

Hi all,
I have a question.

I've been arranging documents for a couple of months now and finally(Yes,finally) looksl ike I"ll be ready to send in my application in a few days.

My question:
1. How do we package the application? I was thinking of putting in all the papers in the order as the document list on the Quebc immigration site and also attaching a cover letter with a document check list.
Did anyone use a file? If so, what kind of file?

2.If I pay by check or money order, can we get it done from outside canada? I'm in the United States, so would it be possible to make a CAD check payable in canada from US itself?

3. did anyone attest documents such as birth certificate or passport/visa pages?

Thank You all ...will wait for the replies.

Did anyone use a file? If so, what kind of file? I did, not sure what the file is called though :D

3. did anyone attest documents such as birth certificate or passport/visa pages? Yes - of course!

Thank You all ...will wait for the replies. Congratulations on your feat, pls waste no more time, set the ball rolling asap

Thank You!

about the check, I mean to ask, can we make a check in CAD and payable in canada from outside canada? where do we get this done?

A question not related to Quebec/Canada ;D - how can I 'quote' when I post a reply? I'm unable to do so and I don't see any options either.

Not sure about a cheque, but a bank draft should be fine 8)
