hi dear,

yes u can submit your application without IELTS but u need to show some proof that u have a good command on english u may present a company letter if they r an english company and u worked there or working. or u may submit later IELTS result once u get it.

i think u got the answer of ur questions.

Bon chance

thanks to your reply. i will then ask british council to send copy of ielts result once i get the results and once i get the AOR from hongkong. More question: most of the document requirement says "copy". can i just send and original copy instead of having them certified? anyway, I will have another original copy when interview comes.... thanks in advance for your reply

guyz, have few queries:

1. im studying abt quebec histroy, culture, music, cinema, theater, architecture, impo events, economy, govt system, important events etc for my interview. what else do i need to focus on?

2. do i have to study these things for major cities also, or just quebec is enugh?

3. how much details do i have to go into? like memorize each and every date and person of history ???

4. how much do i have to study abt canada (other than quebec) ?

Hey Angeleye..

Don't have to know all of these..it's not a test about Quebec culture/history.

Just know the normal fair knowledge about the place you intend to live in.

Easy!

Yes Stillhope, congratulations! You did it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Enjoy the feeling!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Seniors,

Please can you help as I am confused with the different views on the test I should take to prove french language learning ?

1. Does CIC accept DELF and TEF certificates? as I have read posts from the forum that TEF is mostly advised due to fixed marking grades unlike DELF which is provided points as decided by the case officer ?
2. As the testing is done for Listening, reading, writing, speaking - do we have to score a certain minimum for each section as I also saw that we only have to sit for listening and speaking ? If yes, can we ignore the remaining two i.e writing and reading ?

Thanks very much
