Bonjour Shahi,

Je penses que l'avantage principal de ce forum est de se soutenir l'un à l'autre.

C'est vraiment agréable d'avoir des amis partageant les mêmes rêves :)

Ouais..nous allons réussir tous ensemble. :)

Hey Lirjan,

After the October 2009 changes to Quebec Immigration if you're under fast-track you can get your QSC within 2-3 months thats what the Zeppeling Consulting Firm from Quebec told me.

My visa office for medicals and security is Warsaw and they are fairly fast in processing. One can get in about 3-6 months.

Hey (wing777) i don't know about this change, so we are near than ;)
The visa office in Rome has slow processing i have heard stories about that.
Anyway i am prepared to wait one year, this period will give me time to learn better French.

(Iceberg7 & wing777) i will bring with me some old bottles of wine to open in Montreal as a sign of victory.
Join me to be drunk that day.. ;)

Best of luck to all.....

hello all

my visa office is hong kong. well they were fast enough to send the AOR ;) i dont about the rest of the phases. any idea how hong kong visa office works??

and do they waive the interviews??

and what if im called for an interview? will that be in hong kong or pakistan (my home country)??

Hey Angel

Well for startes i would recommend join AF in your city...It is very good...take the first level and then slowly and gradually take to reading and listening french...it is actually interesting this language..!

your second question even i dont know!! if will be called to new delhi or hong kong..if seniors or fellow applicants cud throw some light!

Shahi

shahi

thanks buddy, but im planning to do it on my own, as its very difficult for me to join any institute and spare time for it.

is it possible that i can do it on my own? any tips for that?

Hey Angel

Well i would still say do first level with AF and then switch to individual...starting alonne can be difficult and de-motivating..

but if your time constraints are too much then well you should buy AF books...or enquire about online sites...you just need a start..once done with start then you can do on your own...

Start with it immediately..any prob u have..then me and other members are there...Iceberg has very good command over the language..Kia is also i think starter like me..

So best of luck.. and dont worry if you have any problem..!!

Shahi

thanka a ton buddy, will definitely start searching online resources :)

Hi Angel,

As Shahi advised u, start from now to learn & pratice french..the more time u practice the faster & more proficient u'll be by the time of the interview & visa issuance ;)

Of course I would be more than happy to help :)

And..there is one more advice from me..listen to french more frequently..check the many many french radio broadcasts over the internet.
It's really helpful to familiarize urself with the language music & pronounciation :)

Best of luck everybody :)

Hey Lirjan,

I am absolutely in this party :D

Well..at least now there's a bright side of the waiting time.."aging the wine" ;) :D

Good luck buddy..

Shahi, the best site for learning french is Babel Languages. You pay like 6 euros a month but its really worth it. However if I were I would MAKE TIME for AF school. Learning on your own i one thing but there's no better thing like someone who will correct you, explain things, pronunciation is very important too. I have been taking two classes a week but Im changing to three private lessons a week from now on. My level is A2 at best.

Lirjan, if you're a social worker, you're def fast-tracked. Expect as invitation for an interview soon (unless they waive it)

Angel, hong kong is pretty fast, faster than vienna so you're lucky.

And Lirjan, we should all def get together for drinks once we arrive in Montreal :) I cant wait!!!!

@ Iceberg your absolutely right..earlier you start for french the better.

@ Wingof... Guys even i cant wait to get to montreal..and for sure a partyyyy...Pray get CSQ soon.. ;D
