Went into Hull & Gatineau & then this coming weekend to montreal; Quebec is quite a beutiful province!

My question is, If I successfully get PR under Quebec scheme, how long do I have to live in say Montreal before I am free to move to another province. In case I cant find a job, is it ok to store rejection letters for say 100 job applications before moving and to move within 3 months if such be the case; and must i be living in Quebec upon landing?

I will share experience once I submit this week!!!

As I believe, since you get ur "canadian" PR..u r eligible to live in any province.
But I also believe that u have to make ur landing process through Québec.

However, I strongly believe that Québec is a wonderful place to live in..& there are plenty of opportunities awaiting for us

Hello All

I second iceberg... i m not against federal canada..but the FSW rules are really nothing short of impossible for young people like me..its in my age between 25 -28 that you are not well settled in your home country and can easily move out..but FSW requires that u have atleast 3-4 yrs of experience..I just feel at an age of 30-35 its tough..coz most probably your married and kids and parents, funds prob..!!

Quebec on the other hand allows young ppl like myself to immigrate at the right time and age.. Well this is just my opinion..! and i like the way they want to preserve their language..french..

coming back to your question
1.Yes you can move out after PR and SIN no. received. But not recommended as it can cause problem for future citizenship..
2. Quebec is way cheaper than Ontario. Quebec has far more opputunities.
3. Quebec is a wonderful and beautiful place with a rich cultural heritage ( not saying other places dont have, but just to emphasize it is as good as any place)

So for me quebec all the way..

I havent been to Quebec but Ive been learning alot about it. I love it. And my dream is to go for MBA at McGill University.

Guys...does anyone have their application fast-tracked?

MBA from McGill would be an awesome degree to have. McGill is among one of the best universities in the world plus being a Quebec resident your tuition would be fairly low. Isnt that great? ))

absuletly..that is one of the reason i want to do MBA from McGill..

The PR status would help me by reducing the fee..also i can earn enough to support myself in quebec for this time wen i ll be doing MBA..Once an MBA from McGill , well sky is the limit..

To carry one a point from another post ...i have studied Introductory HR, Org Behavior, Operations...Since my Majors is in Marketing i have studied it in detail and all the subjects in marketing... Also did a semester in IT MBA...hope this will be suffice to be in Business Sciences..

Yes i am in the fast-track processing as skilled worker, (wingsofmaybe7777) but i have no work
experience as Social Worker. I have 2 years + as Video & Audio recorder technic that is preferred by NOC
Than i hav 1 year + as General Supervisor
Now im Director of an wine factory
My wife has 3 years + as Kordinator
Both we now Eglish,French,Italian language,
Beside these we have a child that is 3 years old and he win 4 points for hes age

My Visa Office is in Vienna Austria.

I filled out the form that make my payment by Credit Card. Now i should wait till they charge
the money on my account, this is how i will understand that my files are in the officer hands

My visa office is also Vienna, Austria so I think we should stick together and support each other through this process
I will be sending my application in a month since I am still gathering all of the documents and I also believe I am inder fast-track (BS in Management - Business) and 10 months experience as a Business Manager.

Did you take any official tests for French Language like Delf or TEF? I am currently enrolled in a course at Alliance Francaise so I am attaching the statement that I got from the school.

My French level is on A2 level which is like Advance Beginner, whats yours?

Do you know how long is the process for obtaining QSC from Vienna ?

Sure (wingsofmaybe7777) maby we will meet each other at interview .

I sended the document from Alliance Francaise that prove im in the level A2 and im taking intensive cours 3 days at week.
I sended even the Ielts test of English.I collected 6 points from Ielts. I think is good,
So maby after 5 months when i will have the interview (if any) i will talk much better the French language.
Lets hope to reach B1 level, this will be fine.

The AOR comes no far than 1 month.
Than after 2 months if anything goes fine they will invite you for an interview
and will let you prepare in a space of 2 more months till the date of interview
They will tell you in the same day of the interview if you will be selected for the certificate of Quebec and for further information
step by step how you will apply for Visa.
Than our Visa office will be in Rome. (I am not sure for you but Rome office cover my country for PR Visa).
They want just the (medical reports and criminal checks)
This full process till you will have the visa in your hands it will take 12-15 months

I know all this from my friend that applied 03-2009 at Vienna office and now he hes happy with the visa in hes hand ;D

I look as well to earn an MBA from McGill or HEC Montréal..I strongly believe these 2 are the best in all over Canada..& of the best around the world.
