Hi all,

I got a lil bit of goodnews. The bank just confirmed that the draft was cashed on 21st March 2011. This @ least gives the assuurance that the file got to Paris and it has been opened. Since they have cashed the draft, I guess i'll just rest & keep an anxious eye out for my AOR or possibly the CSQ.

Thanks to all those who showed some concern & best wishes to every1. Wish everybody the patience required for this whole process.

I am new but i have been reading you for a year.
Me and my husband decided to apply under QSW in december (we are waiting for him to have 2 years of work experience).
In September we are starting French course in AF.
We have 60 points....but we are planing a new pregnancy so I have notice that having another child will bring us 4 extra points.
Is it correct? Because if we apply in december with one child will they calculate 4 extra points once baby is born? or it would be to late for extra points?

Yep, I worked 40 hours a week and was paid for that. My concern was about not having a description of the tasks I performed on the internship certificate. But you answered my question. Thank you very much.

and If I succeed to reach there will it counts for me (from the 1095 days)?

also I want to know if I got a job offer I can go there with work permit or PR or .... ??

Query on imm0008 form

Hi all: I am filling up all the documents, forms to apply for CSQ shortly.

1. There is a form named imm0008 form; in the form there is a box called category under which u r applying, here should be Quebec skilled worker, right?
2. and visa office requested for the process of your application should be Singapore, right? (I am applying from Bangladesh)..

Please assist me in this regard..

There is a form named imm0008 form; in the form there is a box called category under which u r applying, here should be Quebec skilled worker, right? it seems u are mixing issues here. quebec involves a two way applicatn process. the first is to the BIQ for to obtain CSQ, then after this u apply to the VO for to obtain the Visa. the I mm008 form is for the federal part and not for applying to the BIQ.check here for forms needed for CSQ

Yes he is right, he is not mixing two thing together.
because with new rule u have to send IMM0008 form with your application.


3. Application for a permanent residence in Canada
•You and your spouse, if any, must complete the form Application for permanent residence in Canada (IMM 0008) and attach a photocopy of it to your Application for a Québec selection certificate. If you obtain a Québec selection certificate, send the original of this form to the Government of Canada with your application for permanent residence.
