But first you'll have to send the form to update your file, notarized and translated death certificate and pay 300 more so they can send the condolences 3 years later.

Hi, it´s good news but I´m still trying to figure out how long it would take before I get more news. Although, by what I have gather is that this kind of mail means that I'm close to finishing the process. I figure that at least another month before I get more news.

About my data,
MBA so 12 and 6 points for AOT,
Age 30,
Single
IELTS Band 8 so max points in both point systems (pre and post August,2013)
Tefaq B2/C1
5 years work experience
no jobs or relatives in Quebec or Canada
So I calculated 63/55 points in the old system (pre August 2013), 58/55 post August, 2013.
In any case, when I called BIQ inquiring about the status of my application, it was already "en traitement" starting August 2013 - In july, my application status was "en attente", so I'm guessing the old system applied to me.

Sent the application in August, 2012 while I was living in the US, application was transfered to Mexico BIQ because my nationality, received in Mexico at the End of October, 2012, got my AOR dated December, 2012. Called every single month in 2013 to know the status of my application :, finally got the "attente de decision" letter January 3, 2014. CSQ - who knows when??? :'( :'( :'(

as far as my thought is concern we all will get surprise soon either positive or negative that is to see.

bcoz in these kind of heavy backlog at montreal biq I think they
can't afford to not to take interview for couple of months

I hope we will have some positive stuff soon
so any of the members if receives something pls update

Hi Guys, its an unfortunate event for me...

Sent our application last July 2013 (old rules) however application was returned yesterday Jan 6, 2014 due to credit card payment problem. They have asked me to submit a new payment. May question is, am i still be processing under the old rules?

Ha ha ha... very true, They least bothered even for condoling dismissal of applicant. I was meaning that they might be making some major changes.

My BIQ is hong kong.

Is anyone there in the same boat?

And I hv heard they held interview only 2 times a year? Is it true.
