The reason for that because two of my friends applied in May-2011 and they received

The mail of freezing the files to 18 month till they reach the B2 level.

Hi,
I'm not yet in the waiting list i called them last week and they inform me that my file is under process,
I didn't send any French test maybe they will send me like your friends to reach B2 and update them accordingly.
I'm married with two kids and i have 57 points without french and adaptibility points.
And if they consider my brother in law(brother of my spouse) as first relation for her maybe we will earn 3 points(not sure of this points).
I have a maitrise from France in Business administration of enterprises.
By the way Saturday we will pass the tefaq and looking gorward to get B2 and i will ipdate them even once i will get the resault. Maybe mid of December.

Which BIQ office is processing your friend's application?

The assumption I had was based on this, In case of Age, or IELTS or French certificates, its not in your hand at all, You cannot stop your age from counting, and you cannot determine when your application will be reviewed to take up your Language tests just in time. But, in case of qualification you know you do not work in the related area, and you still have time 1 or two years of time before your application is opened, hence you can very well work in the occupation related to AOT, and its definitely in your hand. If you go to the interview without any AOT experience you cannot prove that you will work in the related occupation and it may look like you are gaining points only for your education and not for the experience you gain out of it, hence the Interviewer may neglect either the experience or the AOT points, this was my assumption.

But Bachar had clarified that the 5 years will be based on the time the application will be received, hence may not be a concern. Thanks Bachar

i am work now as medical sales representative in Pharmaceutical company
my file i send it after 4 years of graduation of Chemistry
will i gain the points in interview even if i have passed 6 years of graduation and work in other field ??
i need a sure answer in that point its critical to me

the points of AOT i want to be sure of the AOT points gived according to which date

- date of recevied file ??
- date of file number given ??
- or date of preliminary examination ??

you have to check Bachar's response to this query, it is already mentioned that they will consider it only from the date the file is received.

no need to prove funds at quebec level. Only a signed contract respecting financial self sufficiency is needed.
