Can someone guide me about opportunities for financial researchers and investment professionals in Quebec. What is the overall job scenario for such occupations ?

Dear All,

I am a newbie to this forum, and I must say that I have been more than impressed with information I have gathered from different members of this site. I am started to gather all the documents I need, the challenge willing be getting certified copies of the documents. I have also started to take a french course online and will definitely be making use of the french movie/news links posted on this forum to help my listening and accent as well. It is a lot of hard work, hopefully I should be able to put my application through in within the next few months.

I studied biochemistry for undergrad and a masters in biochemistry, no 'tangible' work experience in that field, but I have over 5years working experience working within the commercial sector, my wife, two kids, I intend to pursue a career in my field of sudy when i get into quebec, probably pursue a PhD @ Mcgill if it all works out. I know the journey has just begun, but will keep everyone informed of any updates I may have.

I wish to say thank you to you all

Omofa. :)

You are welcome, but just pray that your Area Of training be included in the July 31st list so that in the next few months you can apply.....good luck

Question for you:

Can you provide profile for your spouse? does she have any experience in Chemistry withing the last five years? You might switch applicants if that be the case to gain experience points

@ Stylove, merci beaucoup.

I am afraid neither of us have practiced in our area of study, due to lack of jobs within that area, hence hence part of the need to move. I will wait and see the July 31st rules for the AOT and that will help me decide whether to continue with this option.
