QUEBEC APPLICANTS LETS SHARE EXPERIENCE

Hello everyone! I am new here!
A family of 4 we live in French Guiana, we used to live in London, where we stayed for 15 years. French native speaker, we applied for a quebec certificate in august 2010 at the Mexico city Office, took us 14 months to get it. We were unlucky because the certificate got kept at Cayenne post office for 9 months, it was sent by Mexico in january 2012, and only got back to them in september 2012. Thank you "la poste"!
Anyway, we then send our federal file to Sydney in nov 2012, it was then sent to Mexico, even though we stated on the file that we wanted it to be process by the Paris office! :-[We still don't know why that happen, now it is being processed by the Trinidad and Tobago office.
Anybody dealing with Trinidad? I send an email to find out about their delays, they answered that this information was not available to the public! :-X
So here we are again playing the waiting game!

As I did not get any answer so far I am asking again, if you don't mind,
Is anybody, who is a Quebec applicant at the federal stage, dealing with T&T office? I would like to have an estimate of their delays. I know there is thread for FCS dealing with T&T office, but it is not the same kind of application so I don't think I can rely on the information found there.

Guyz, i have sent my file to Montreal in march 2013 and till date i haven't got any message or reply from them. Please let me know how much time they will take for first reply ?

What would be the best way to organize my documents?

I was thinking of all the checklists and application forms etc loose and top, and then for supporting documents: a plastic L shaped folder for each type of document, with a clear label mentioning "Birth Certificate/ Proof of date of birth", "Passport Copy", "Educatioal documents", "Work experience related documents", "Internship documents"..am applying single...not married
and then just put all of that in one big brown envelope (if it will fit) or rubber band it all together and put into one DHL bag...depending on what will fit...

Would that be advisable? because otherwise it would be weird all different sizes and stuff...wouldn't know what is what....
Especially for official documents, lots of them are sealed with stamps (mainly university documents and internship letters)...so can't take them out of the envelopes ..

Also, do I just fill all the application forms in black pen and block letters? is that fine?
what about the points that are not applicable to me, such as marriage certificates, spousal details, children's details - do I just leave them all blank...not even a "N/A" anywhere?

Just want to make sure about all...

No that will not be a problem since u have done ur education within the last 5 yrs and u hav practised as a nurse too ryt before an yr ago....so not an issue..

If u see ur own evaluation report given by Y axis ,it will show ur NOC.Thats how I got mine...What's ur AOT....

Just a quick question, does it really deserve to wait 6 to 7 years to get the Canadian Visa?

3 years to get the CSQ
3 years (37 months) to get the Visa

I think it does gets u 12 points...Unless if u hav attained the degree in the last 5 yrs or practised the profession atleast 1 yr within last 5 yrs...this is as per my knowledge...

I applied for CAQ in March and it was approved on 10th of April. I am deferring my admission now because of the delay in getting my visa. Do I have to reapply for CAQ and visa? Please help

Yes, I got the file number and file reference number. this monday only i send the new DD to montreal. I sent from singapore to montreal ('cos i am working in singapore right now) thru speed post only. They told to reach this docs in 4 days. but still status not deliver, I dont know what happend. Did you submitted ur new DD and got any letter from montreal again?

What is the difference between file number and the reference number ????
i got only one letter cited there the reference number and it was since Aug 2011
