yes i am waiting since 30 months for interiew, and will wait for federal 40 months+ if i pass the csq

Hi friends....was just having a look on all the discussions being made on French topic and the delay matter....m so surprised to see...that they make us wait fr 2-3years..and in this age of us...which are the most important years of our life. M 26yrs old now..m just about to despatch ma file within a week...suppose I have to wait fr..take a year or 18months..den studying there..obviously...minimum 1tear..and working part time...dat means till thr time I have chances of getting settled properly with a decent job.. I will b 30. Definitely...my goodness..when will I get married...*censored word*..all these questions are making me MAD...even being on the priority list...I have no hope. One thing I have learnt .either u give time or money...bcoz if I apply on student visa. Den no waiting and all..even who the hell gives u guaranty that waiting almost f****** 1-2years..u will b selected..TIME IS MONEY...my sister also did thr same. Waiting fr FSW fr almost 2.5yrs. She lost her patience and went on student visa spending some 10lakhs.. being a qualified nurse..she is struggling in Vancouver working in a pizza shop..N me here...still thinking where ma life is taking me...friends shud I apply fr CSQ and go on student visa..if it works well and good..means if I get CSQ. Or else .atleast I will b there on student visa...

1 -Certified copy of birth certifate --- pls who can certify this document (I sent notarized copy before)
2 - University diploma certificate & Transcript - can I send notarized copy as well, or certified by the school. The issue is I have a UK certificate, how can I certify this cuz am in Nigeria now.
3 - social security certificate

Pls I need advice cuz I am given 90 days to respond.

2. Your UK Certificate has to be attested by UK Embassy or consulate in your country.

As from your query, it seems that they rejected ur application based on AOT.

That shouldn't be a problem.
1- If you are in Nigeria, simply send copies of your certificate to your university in the UK (try to contact the appropriate person in academic services) explain what you need or better still go through their website, i'm sure you will find the information you require. Or send to a friend in the UK...whichever. Once certified, they will return them to you in Nigeria.

Source....I did the same thing.

2- As for your birth certificate, Let me assume you have the one from the local government. if so, make copies of the original, take to them and ask them to certify them as true. I tried the same thing, but they didn't understand what i wanted so i simply requested for another original which i got. (cheaper as well)

No need to worry. I somehow think they want to avoid calling people for interviews now.

Yeah,i strongly agree with you that they want to seriously reduce interview rate.It is part of the reasons for the backlog.That is why they do not accept incomplete file anymore.

Does one need to tick that box in question 41 if he is not paying by credit card? I plan to pay with a Cheque, so should i tick it or not.

I want to know when to expect my passport request. i did apply for my Quebec certificate of selection in Sept 2011, got a selection certificate in paris November 9th 2012, send application for ferederal received December 3 2012. got RPRF Request feb 6, 2013, Medical request Feb 7, 2013. RPRF received in ghana 14th Feb 2013, medical done 14th Feb 2013, received received in london high commission 24th of Feb 2013. I am waiting for passport request now from Ghana. any one with the ideal of how long it takes accra to request for passport for Quebec skilled worker on priority list? (Chemist).

My medical was posted to london office since i did my medical in the UK. WILL UK HIGH COMMISION MAIL IT TO GHANA OFFICE OR MAKE A DECISION ON MY MEDICAL AND THEN FURNISH THEIR GHANA COUNTERPACT WITH THEIR DECISION?

The advice you have been given are quite good.You need to act first.For me,a notaries public certified all my documents and they did not frown at it.Probably,they are checking Nigerian files now and trying to pick out documentations that are missing or questionable.

Yes you are right, i was advced from one lawyer to send everything original, and i did so .. i sent everything 100 % original, but not my passport )))

I got an email monday asking me to do the medical (what i did yesterday) and also asking to pay the Permanat residence fees at the same time.

Hi,
These are my observations.

BEFORE 6TH OF DECEMBER,2011,
- Incomplete application could be submitted and a file will still be created,
- Incomplete documentation could still be submitted and they would create a file for you and ask you later to update your file or present them during interview,
- Language test result could come in form of language test results,school attestation,writing a cover letter in that regard that you know the language and wants to claim point for the level that you have chosen
- Applications were not returned at all even if not complete.
- Acknowledgement of receipt are presented very fast
- Interviews rate were very high.
- Rules were modified every 3 years

AFTER 6TH OF DECEMBER,2011
-To claim points for language,you must submit only a language test result
-Delays in receiving Acknowledgement of receipt
- Less decisions have been made,no waiver no interview-at least 98 percent of people that i know
-Several rules have been introduced.
- For nearly 8 months,nothing new has been heard or put as a rule
- Return of incomplete applications,meaning all accepted applications are complete and eligible.
and more.....
- submission of document checklist to ensure that you have include everything.
- moving all CONTINENTAL OFFICES TO MONTREAL

What do we make out of all these.

Well,i feel that there will be minimal interview,faster processing after 31st,march,2013suspension of the scheme for a while etc....
