I saw this document, for Master of Business Administration (IGNOU)9 - comment at the bottom of the page says IGNOU seulement. What does this mean ? Only IGNOU college MBAs get 12 points and no other MBA. No one has heard about these colleges in India, there are a lot of better MBA institutes here

I have a 2 yr full time PGDM , my institute is autnomous and is not affiliated to any univ. hence it calls its 2 yr management programme as PGDM and not MBA . Will i get points for this ?

I submitted my application on July 27th 2011 and received AOR on September 12th 2011.

I''m sorry but, you must be referring to your AOR from Quebec Immigration for your CSQ application.

I understand you did your medicals in June 2012. How about your AOR from Centralized Intake Office for the federal part, how long was your waiting time before you got your AOR thru e-mail?

Hey Umar,

If it has been more than 4 mos., only when it exceeds that, then you can send BIQ HK an e-mail to request an information on the position of your application. Just write them politely, and make sure you include your profile or personal information in your letter.

Note: If the AOR was mailed on the 4th mo., remember that postal delivery could take like 3-4 weeks.

Probably its on way, provided that you exactly complied the requirements.

I got AOR almost after 4 month, that too when i inquired about the same by email. they said they posted the AOR on 15th Nov and mentioned my file number in email.

Prior to this i has sent them 3 inquiries and they asked me to wait and be patient.

Hi all,

For Masters degree (say MBA) completed through correspondence while on job, does quebec give only 10 points and not 12? Is the complete 12 points awarded only to degrees that are classroom taught? Though I have an MBA that I completed through correspondence while on job, my agent says I can claim only 10 points and not 12. Please advise..

Like #rao1122 said, it took him like 4 mos. when he received his AOR from BIQ. Exactly after 4 mos., hit them with an e-mail immediately.
