guest i already waiting 22 months

but for the 33 months it varies it was 19 then 26 then 33 hope become less

so i expect my interview in 4 months then its 26 month waiting + 33 months at least = 59 = 5 years

Hi Lemans, arent they crazy to let people wait for 5 years!!! Why it takes so long on the federal level?? They only have to do a security check and medical... Does that need 33 months!!!

Another point, since now they are not receiving application fromm everyone (only selected categories) should the process be faster when our files are due to interview and federal process Since they number of applicants in my patch is much less? What do you think?

Dear Rao,

If you can post your country of education then I can be able to tell you how much points you will get for your masters.

In most of the countries you will get 12 points while others will get 10 points but it is depending on country of education.

Though i am applied on my own, i had some confusions, so i contacted 2 consultants and they both said i do not qualify for QSW. My main doubt was about my education and AOT points.

They said i will not get 12 but 10 points for my qualification. which will make me 2 points short. This is because my MBA Marketing is only for 1 year and rest of my education is in IT. AND 'Gestion et administration des entreprises (BACC. - 3 ans) would not apply to me.

I would request you to share ur views about this. Though lot of my frnds on this forum have said that i will get 12+6 points. I am still worried, dont want my file to be rejected due to this in preliminary examination as i am claiming just 57 points without french.

My details are given below,

Bach of Computer Application (3 year) 2004, INDIA
MSC IT (2 years) 2006, INDIA
MBA-Marketing(1 year) UK

Work Exp: 4 years

I have got the ref number but they can still reject if i get get points in education.

I started the process for immigration to Quebec July 2011 and completed and received CSQ in March 2012 and got medical request in June 2012 and submitted it in June 2012 and am now waiting for passport request. I am wondering if anyone has had experiences with the length of time it takes after the medical request to receive passport request from Port of Spain. Thank you for your information in advance.

My friend , i have waited for 9 months after medicals received by Port of spain. port of spain is really slow as concern to Quebec cases. they do not care much. I have waited for passport request for long now . Nothing has comes my way yet. may be you may have it earlier. Please write and inform me when you finally receive passport request from port of spain. Also i heard they are under staffed so, i do not really understand what could be causing this delay. Quebec cases are straight forward cases. They just need to check security and medicals , but it takes them this long to do it . I doubt what could be happening there. I will inform you if i get a passport request.

Hi All
Can someone please tell me how much time will to get acknowledgement letter after applying quebec pr file for Hong kong office.
As I applied on 1st june 2012 and they returned back my file in one month for the reason of my IELTS expire and also the application form was not update.
then I again send my file on mid of july and still there is no response. Its been 4 months.
Can someone give me an idiea for that.

i have sent a number of email inquiries, i got a response once. last month. They just wrote rubbish. I am still waiting for passport request.
