Quebec applicants 2010(Damascus) waiting for medicals

Mar7aba,

I am 2013 applicant, my visa office is London.. but my application is without movement since July 2014 (they requested additional documents and police clearance from Saudi Arabia where i work now).

My ECAS status showing only 1 line "We received your application for permanent resident in ..."

My question is, is this delay because i am Syrian ?
Do you guys have the same delay because you are Syrians ?

i am syrian applicant also but i am QSW not FSW,this delay has nothing with nationalities coz i know personally many syrian's applicants who got visa and they r in Montreal and i can assure u that,this delay not due the nationality,u can observe this thread and see like Rouba,Elio,Cameron ..... they r Lebanese applicants and they r waiting their visa until now although they r QSW and has CSQ(it requires just medical+security after got csq),so u can conclude that they have plans and we don't know which plans they r going on,relax and don't confuse urself about nationality.

I'm confused because all other nationalities (Pakistani,Indians,Filipinos,Vietnamese) who applied with me have got their Visas.. and i did not get the Medical Request untill now...

Omega in one week your ecas showed medical received ,however in my status one month and 13 days there is no reply from them after remedical I think there is something weird.
Omega please could you advise me what to do ? Do I have to send them an e-mail or do I have to wait for two more weeks? I m scarred that they did not receive the results from the doctor

I applied on 7th May 2014 and CC charged on 15 August 2014, till now no regular mail or email from them for File NO..

I called help center the agent took my information and told they open my file but she did not give my File NO.

how much time it will take to get File No. ? I will be normal mail or email?

Did any one have the same situation, I am thinking to withdraw my application for Quecbec did they pay me back as they did not process my file and how can I contact with them to withdraw

1- Nothing is weird Elio, they are waiting your medical results to be processed by Ottawa, it's not CIC who process medicals, CIC only receives the final decision from Ottawa.

2- It won't be on ecas a new line about remedicals... ma tentora

3- Yes it took them 1 week to process my meds, but for others it took a month, so nothing weird... Yemkin tkoun ottawa overloaded la2ino 3am yjarbo ykhalso maximum old files abel l new immigration system "Express Entry" li ra7 ybalesh b 1 january 2015.

4- After meds, PPR takes at least 15 days, it took me 21 days. So i guess u will have to wait between 1 month and a half and 2 months starting the date ur doctor uploaded the meds (without counting Christmas and new year holidays).

5- I advice you to do Nothing, just wait for ppr... Iza ma fik tentor w so stressed send them a mail asking about ur application, Rouba did that and they replied that they are waiting the remeds to be processed....... AKID L DOCTOR BA3AT L RESULTS, INTA MA3AK WSOULAT SO IZA MA BYEB3AT L RESULTS BYELGHO L CONTRAT MA3O, MA TKHAF IT'S NOT A GAME

You applied for csq or visa???

Immigration to Canada takes time, depending from where u applied but be prepared for a several years of waiting.

If ur application is opened they won't pay you back the processing fees, they will only return the landing and visa fees if you are in the federal stage.
