Your e-cas will change to medical received within one month don't worry, and then after will be changed to in process but I can't give an exact date.
 
Elio, since you sent them an email concerning your remedical, they did not answer you yet ?

When exactly did u send the email ?

Thanks Ashaa, but what about the csq renewal? Shouldn't ask for renewal? It expired a year ago.

I renewed my CSQ by the same way ...it took 3 month

Ma hada 3aref chi mn chi....

Elio ...also a friend expired his medical in february 2013..
They sent to him that validity to his medical to february 2014

Bas l problem eno aktariyit l websites bi2oulo eno lal applicants outside canada l security check is done before medicals, so ma 3am efham l delays... A canadian immigration consultant living in lebanon told me that ppr after medicals for some clients took 3 months and for others 7 and 8 months, w alli kamen eno l security abl l medicals??? Walla manne fehmen chi mn chi....

Validity of the medical one year after it expires ???
 
some times they extend medicals based on different time intervals, it goes from 3 months to 1 year.

mine was extended for 1 year.

So when the medical expires they extend it for one year without you having to retake medicals again.

This sounds strange to me.

What if someone contracts a disease during this period....
