same here man, they requested a new certificate few days ago, that is logical since they need to know if u did anything in the country were u reside.

I sent them my certificate few mins ago :)

They gave you this card on the plane, around half an hour before landing. I used to fill in this card each time I visited Canada.
The other forms are your responsibility, you should fill them out and print them.

I didnt fill the goods form actually i forgot to fill it but they didnt ask about it and didnt search the luggage only they took my word about what is in the luggage..

Regarding health card, someone told me that you cant transfer your medical card to another province before you complete 6 months.

In case someone doesn't apply for medical/health card in Quebec, can he move to Toronto then apply for heath card there?
8)

You just need to apply for the new health card in the new province, during the waiting time your previous health card cover you.. There are some details about how you can keep your health care effective.. I dont know all but you will learn all that here

Hey guys ... as an update, my status has changed from application received to In Process after exactly 5.5 months from submitting my federal application part. Hoping for the medical Very Soon.

Cheers,
Patient

I visited quebec city yesterday, it is a great place to open a business like restaurant or small shop because it is floods with tourists, the housing there is so expensive, usually its weather is colder than montreal but yesterday seems a great warm sunny weather.. It just look like a heritage place or village , minimal high buildings..

Guys if we want to prepare a list of the perfect locations to live in Quebec, what are the options as an immigrant new to the city, Lemans is not advising me on Laval, any ideas. :)

Cameron, u have first to set your criteria of perfect location! money sense, family wise, services meanings… Bas In QC, i dont think there are many perfect places… you can check Quebec City, BoucherVille, WestMount…
These are very good areas, good salaries and good life style bas expensive…

And yes lemans is totally right, Laval and St Laurent have massive population and relatively high crime and robbery rates, with all respect due to nationalities bas they are full of afghan, sirilanka, chinese, africanos and unfort. syrians and lebanese!
