Hi guys
Please anybody applied in 2011 and didn't get the medical request yet :'(

hello everybody,

Today is the Elections day in Quebec, so let's hope the best will win :)

I have a question about security checks. A friend of mine forgot to mention in his travel list one trip for 1 week to Sudan that he made in 2006 for work purposes. And now he's afraid that it may affect his security checks or may lead to rejection !!
does anyone have and idea about similar cases?

thank you

i have traveled to a lot of places for work purposes including Sudan, all of which did not pass the 1 month stay, it was a daunting task but i included all. i don't think it will affect if i forgot 1 trip

Thank u for the useful info :)
I think he was just afraid that they may consider this as fraud in his application which may get him banned from entering Canada.

I disagree with above. They specifically say to list down all places that you have traveled to (vs. resided in) hence it means places you visited and not only lived in for more than 6 months. If you do not disclose all information, the only risk is that when you send out your passport for stamping they might see that there are many other places you traveled to and did not revealed (unless you changed your passport). Generally speaking, there is no risk if you do not give all information but immigration fraud is a big issue these days - any information that is not properly disclosed / reported is considered as immigration fraud, if you have nothing to hide, why to hide? Don't worry about the timeline - it will be delayed anyway : )

First time you mention something wrong -1 :D its listed in the application federal i think but its true more than 6 months

Just a quick query,

Please tell me if French is mandatory for Quebec, as our agency is saying if we have the points and IELTS, French is not mandatory.

Please help!

Regards
