Cherif, my file was transferred to Bucharest in March 2013. Until now the ecase does not mention anything about that. From my point of view the ecase is not necessarily that reliable.

No cherif, they just mentioned that they received it and they will review all files in the order in which they were received and they will contact me as soon as they are ready to put my case into process or if they need additional documents and/or information :) :)

my CSQ expired in 22/11/2013
my visa in 10/3/2014

it like a law that when u receive the visa your csq doesn't need to be renewed if expired.usually the csq expire after u receive the visa as embassy ensure to stamp the visa within valid csq time frame. but u know the strange processing time fact for our cases which lead to a sure csq expiring without yet the visa stamped ....and so dont worry at all. your visa is granting u the entry to canada.

As far as I could understand from the emails received from Bucharest VO, Amman files have not been scheduled for any processing yet. They only confirmed that they received the files but I think they still do not know when they will process them. There is a possibility that they will finish the Lebanese files first. Nothing is clear yet but having the files transferred from Amman office is in itself an achievement. I think only 2013 Lebanese files are left, right?

Hello,

First, a big Mabrouk for all the Syrians who got their files transferred. You really deserve this light of hope after all this darkness...
And as you said, I think that they transferred the files to Bucharest because that VO is not overloaded. which means that the already processed files are in order and the new files will not cause extra delays. Furthermore, the new files will have to go into the medical requests and extra documents phase now, which is not conflicting with delivering the visas for the "in process" files that already exist.

best of luck...

hi mike
referring to pdf file from cic website there is something called:
the “lock-in” date of the received file. This means that an application that is received in Paris in July 2002 and transferred to New Delhi in March 2003, would enter the New Delhi queue as of July 2002.
this is copy paste from pdf file of cic website I am not saying this will happen to our files but as this document it suppose to happen
also this
For Quebec-selected economic files, the lock-in date for dependency is the date the application for a Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ) was received by Quebec. There are some offices which already receive, as part of the application for permanent residence, a copy of Quebec Form

Hello,

I just received an e-mail from Bucharest VO as a reply to an e-mail I've sent on March 9, asking about the status of my file.
they replied today that my file in under processing and "pending the results of the security verification". Knowing that my e-cas status is "in Process" since March 12, which means that the theory about ("in Process" = Security passed) is not accurate.

regards,

Maybe in process means :we took your file out of the drawer and now we will start working on it:d
As for the rest of us who ecas is still showing app received it means, still in the drawer,or you have committed a crime or your file is missing some docs....
