FYI:
I called saaq today to book an appointment for the driver's license test. I was informed that we are allowed to drive with the Lebanese(translated) or the international driving license for 6 months. The closest appointment is in 1 month so I took it. 2 tests are required: Theoretical with multiple choice questions on a computer and then the practical at a later time. You can do the test in French, English, Arabic, Spanish or Chinese after studying in the books that you can find in libraries and pharmacies.
As for the health card, if you reside outside of Montreal then you have to call the regie so they mail you the required forms in around 5 business days to fill them out and submit them in person to any CLSC in your area.
The SIN card is the easiest. It can be done at any service canada location(apply for it before anything else)
Hope this is informative for everyone before leaving to Canada.
