Dear friends, colleagues, kind people and jerks.
I've just received an email from the embassy asking me to submit my passport with two photos.
the visa validity is March 2015.

I'm originally from Syria, my profile is in Amman.
Good luck to all of you. Keep the spirit up, and keep your head down. ;D
XOXO

Congratulations mike! It is good to hear that Amman office is giving visas. So it took you about two months after the medicals to get the visa? Does this mean that the security checks were done before or these two months were enough for them?

from my experience I found it very useful to be in downtown montreal close to the metro &bus . especially if first time to quebec and no relatives there.

Arrived to gatineau.
It was a great experience at Trudeau airport. The officer was very friendly. It honestly took me 5 minutes to finish the papers.
I was lucky cause the immigration officer was lebanese and the dicussion was all in arabic.
I was only asked about the amount of money i'm bringing in.
I'm officialy a PR.
Good luck to all!!!
can u please tell us what happened with u step by step

I arrived to montreal, collected my luggage, went to an immigration officer.
She only talked arabic with me, asked about the money i'm bringing, took my laptop's serial number. Of course she took the address in gatineau for mailing the pr in 4-6 weeks.
No one opened or searched my bags.
She and I signed the copr and i was asked to guard it with my life for its future use, plus it's irreplaceable. I was also informed that i should stay 2 years out of 5 to keep my pr. In case i leave the country before receiving the pr card, i will have to apply to a new pr visa. Then she crossed out the visa on the passport, making it invalid.
That's it. Few minutes and I was done from the immigration office. Immigration quebec office gave me a booklet, same one we received during the interview when we first applied.
Don't worry, you'll be fine. They're extremely friendly :)

Means no one can make landing and leave without pr?
should apply for new visa?

yep! It took them about two months after receiving the medical results. I really don't know if they did the security check after or before the medicals. In my opinion, there is no common rules- They approach each and every case individually.
Amman office is working, and they are super helpful and gentle. In the last few months they answered my emails quickly, professionally and with a super nice tone. You will receive your visa soon guys. just be kind, patient, honest and logical with the embassy.
Cheers
