What Eli is trying to say that in the past immigrants tried to cheat on the Canadian gov by do a landing and come back to home country without declaring that they stayed outside the country, and then after passing the 3 years period they came back to Canada claiming that they stayed there all the period so based on this the Canadian gov did a massive investigation and withdraw citizenship from ones who cheated.

For this reason most of applications between 2006-2008 were on hold (blocked from 2008 till 2011). In my case it was our consultant who was under investigation for stealing money from the Canadian government(he is Lebanese btw) and many of his applicants were not physically in Canada and applied only to get the passport.
In 2011 they send me a document asking if I really want to stay in Canada.I confirmed it and I got My CSQ in the same year. In 2012,they sent me an email telling me that your consultant is fraudulent and If I would you like to change him. My decision was to represent myself.No more consultants.
The funny thing is that in 2007,the timeline was 18 Months for CSQ and 12 months for federal and not 48 Months for CSQ 24 Months and still counting for Federal.

Dear Tarek, I applied in FEB.07.it has been seven years and still did not get any visa.There is a lot of people who applied in 2006-2007 after 2006 war with the same case of mine.

dear jdazz,i mean Quebec skill workerd,not FSW,so it means that u got CSQ in 2007 and u applied to federal part in 2007 and until now u havent get the visa yet? 7 years to get the visa after CSQ? it means that they renewed 2 times ur CSQ?i dont talk about FSW.

I am talking about QSW.I applied for CSQ in 2007 and got it by the end of 2011.I applied for the visa in 2012.

Soon our documents will be done, as long as nothing sever happen in Romania our files will reach a happy ending, let's not forget that those guys are professional and have KPIs to met, I'm very confident even that some times my eager to left this country down me, I'm very sure that applicants live in Dubai are less concerned about the ppr than us.
I'll stay positive, right now I'm benefiting from my time here in Lebanon by spending it with my extended family and with my friends.

I am talking about QSW.I applied for CSQ in 2007 and got it by the end of 2011.I applied for the visa in 2012.

That is strange. I have a friend who applied on his own in 2007 or 2008 in Damascus. He got the CSQ in less than 6 months and the visa in less than a year. He was surprised then because he got the visa in much less time than the announced processing times. He did not have an agent to represent him or anything. I think he has the citizenship now. I did not apply with him then because I did not want to study French but then I had to study it in 2010 and it seems that I still have to wait for four more years to get the visa from Amman office

Would there be any possibility that immigration office will call at our company office for document verification? or will ask for any email response?
What are the chances of that?
Any of you gone through this?
I have everything legal in terms of employment document, even provided proper reference letter from my current company.
But the issue is I want to leave this job because I am fed up of current job, but i am afraid if someone from immigrant office call here and this guys will not entertain him or may provide some wrong information or bad reviews because If i leave the job then i am breaking the bond with my current organization.
