go to anther place without visa

After you land with ppr ... you will get a comfirmation of permanent residency, so you can go anywhere in canada but you must inform them about the new address, so they can send you the SIN and pr card to your mail address. but you will need a visa to go to united states .. lol

even with an RP, you still need a visa to enter to USA.

I just googled it and you're right...it says unless your from a visa exempted country, you will need a visa to enter the US even with a pr card.

All Lebanese who were cheating Canadian government and they stay in gulf, they took 5 years usa visit visa.
they exit Canada without stamp, and they land to usa then enter Canada using the PR :D

My husband and I just applied to a visa from the Beirut office and we were given a five year visa, will expire in 2017, but I must tell you the Americans are now more tricky then before, I had a quick visit last month for a few days for a conference, and the officer at the port of entry asked me how long I intend to stay and I told him 4 days, he said how about I stamp for you two weeks, you never know what might happen, I said hey I am here for a few days only I already have my return ticket and I have kids waiting for me back home. but still this is the first I am asked such a question.

Good luck!
