Hello everyone,

This my first post. i just saw this forum and read your comments.
i am from syria. i got the CSQ in january2011.
my file was transferred to Amman in Feb2012.
they sent me the the new number in july2013. (EP*****)
-
since that time i am waiting for the medicals.
-
of course, my story seems very normal to all of you,
but the problem is NOT only with waiting because my passport is gonna be experied after 10months.
renewing it (without much talk) is next to impossible.

i really dont know what to do ? amman office is not responding to any of my emails.
-
please answer me. what is the best move i can do ???.
i cant just wait and when the visa is ready to be issued, i wont have a valid passport.
is there a way that the embassy will consider my situation.
?????
i am in lebanon rightnow

there is always a way to renew or get a new passport, sorry but money talks
but you can explain the situation in details to the embassy in a written letter send by post or by fax, I think they don't believe in emails since they get hundreds of them everyday, they may find a solution
never lose hope

I think you can renew it at the Syrian embassy in Jordan or Lebanon

Hi,

Yes, ETS (Ecole de Technologie Superieure) is a very good engineering school in Montreal. WHile Polytechnique is more research oriented, ETS focus is to prepare engineers with more technical expertise to work in different indusrties. It also offers many interesting certificates and diplomas.
ETS and polytech are the only francophone engineering schools in Montreal. the 2 other are McGill and Concordia teach in english.

I am planing to continue a master degree in software engineering and I think its better to choose ets for the reasons:
1- courses are done from 6 to 9 pm , so we can work and study at same time
2- polytechnique is more theoretical and its hard to remember what I studied from 6 years ago

Regards

i would do the same if i were you, unless u wanna study in english.
did u get an " evaluation comparative des etudes effectuees hors du Quebec" or contact the OIQ to register?
both procedures could take a long time ( up to 7 months).

Of course it is. But it's the last holiday until Xmas. Offices in gulf countries will be open though, the embassies will only close Tuesday and Wednesday for Adha holiday
