How long have they been in Canada? Or did they work in Ontario and reside in Quebec right away?

They came here, resided in Quebec and worked in Ontario right away.
I duno how it worked for them. They've been here for more than 5 years most of them. I'm sure the gvt wasn't so aware back then.
I talked to some immigration lawyers here and they advised to work the first year in Quebec then think about relocating...
Alberta and Vancouver are booming right now, high salaries and lots of job vacancies.
After being to many regions I have noticed that there is a high percentage of unemployment... So many ppl on the roads, not working... So sad

It's very expensive to live in Vancouver even with a high salary.
I think your right about the government not being so strict back then. I guess the advice from those lawyers is good...confirms what we were saying.

Yes I am sure. My fiance didn't inform them and when I received his new CAIPS, it said they issued a new CSQ and showed the new exp. date.

So don't worry! If they needed her to send it to Bucharest they would have sent a letter with the CSQ asking her to do that.

Well we're all waiting for moon and canadian_citizen to cheer us up with something this month.
I hope it won't take more than 3 months, this way we can have an estimation of when we'll get the ppr.
Europe and some other countries are receiving visas faster than us and they have peace, but for us we have to wait I duno how long... Not one country in the Middle East is considered safe anymore...

Hi guys. I have received an email asking for update and this sentence appeared in the mail:Vous devez aussi vous soumettre à un examen médical effectué par un médecin autorisé. Vous trouverez les instructions médicales dans une lettre envoyée séparément .Will I receive a separate email for the medical request?
What about police certificate? I have been in 5 different countries during the last 6 years and for more then 6 months. I already submitted all of them in 2012. It will be difficult to get those police certificate again.I can get for Lebanon and the country where I am right now. Is it enough?Anyway I did not re-visit those countries again.

It is good news anyway and hope all of us will receive medical request

You should receive an email with the medical of course cause the attached form will contain ur info.
As for the police certificates, if they're asking for them then you should provide them too, they wanna make sure you're still clear since you last submitted them. Did they mention they need all of them again? Or just Lebanon?

You have been a resident in the 5 different countries? In case you were a visitor then there's no need for the police certificate even if you lived more than 6 months
