I think EP is the new system they are implementing, no matter what visa office.

yea that what i think too, it is not logic there are more than 30 000 new files only in bucharest VO within 6 months!!

How can me confirm where is my application? And how can me check it online?

Usually they should tell u by email where ur file is. Give it few days before checking the status on the e-cas. It doesn't work immediately after receiving the aor

They only send you file number and tell that ur file will be sent to an appropriate VO but they dont mention what visa office, i had to request Caips to know or u have to wait till they request you updates or medicals..

Dears,

For people who landed lately in Canada/Quebec:
What is the average time to obtain you Permanent Residency Card from the Landing Day !!??

If I am not being able to stay in Canada for more than 3 consecutive weeks from the landing date, is it possible to come and collect my PR Card later when It is mailed to my address in Canada ??

Thank you dears,
Regards,

Cic only mails it to a Canadian address so it will be at ur own risk to ask someone to mail it to u. 3 weeks are barely enough for u to settle in Quebec. The immigration officer will stay on ur back until u settle down

Settling down is find a home for rent mainly (this can be processed before landing), and having all the right papers processed on the right track !
I will make sure for the PRs to be delivered by Hand through someone coming from canada ! :D

What about the minimum time to obtain you PR Card, the people who landed must have experienced this !

Any tips and trick for settling down !

takes 3 months to receive pr card by mail. however, now with the strike they are saying to expect delays.

To be exact, it shows 69 calendar days to receive pr card but they never stick to it
