just today I received my confirmation of federal application, but how I know if they will process it from Beirut or Bcrst. the nbr is EP001048** and the mail is coming from Sydney, Nouvelle-Écosse.

Why so late? you got your csq long time ago, so your visa office is abu dhabi now, you have 4-5 month for medical or less

and who told you the new rules for quebec applicants will effect the old applicants ?
the new rules will begin from the first of august 2013 and it will affect the new applicants from 1 august 2013
so plzz in this forum we need just some redbool to give us some faith

some ppl called BIQ offices, they told them if your file not analysed yet, will be under new rules, the file 3 steps, AOR, analysed, interview

first when u have ur csq it means that ure file was analyzed
then when you get your aor it means ur in process
and in csq u don't need interview
interviews only for csq or for federal applicants

they said in quebec they need 110 occupations and the updated list of the occupation is by the end of this month
after they putted
the new points for languages and they said the most important thing
it doesn't mean that if u don't have c or c1 that u wont be accepted maybe you can take a sum of point that makes you eligible for the immigration without the language points
so its all according to the number of points that u have

It is important to note that applicants would not be disqualified for possessing less than B1 proficiency in French or English. The QSW application is assessed on a points system, and it is possible for an applicant to achieve sufficient points without being awarded points for their language skills.

These language rules will be effective for new applicants beginning August 1st, 2013. The rules will be effective retroactively for submitted files for which preliminary processing has not already begun. What constitutes ‘preliminary processing’ has not been made clear in the government’s announcement.

Are you still in Saudi arabia? all gulf their visa office in abu dhabi, mine is mentioned on my CSQ. your visa and medical will be proccessed in Abu dhabi embassy

mine it says beirut on the CSQ, and my Federal file number starts with EP .
so what is the truth ?

I think EP is the new system they are implementing, no matter what visa office.
