Thanks lemans207,

This is just a thought:
Guys that is exactly what i am afraid of, if u watched the video, you can see that these people are qualified and eager to succeed in Canada in addition that they are motivated , but the system is blocking them.

We are all accomplished here or in our country of residence. Canada might represent a threat not an opportunity.

Are we ready to go to Canada to face failure and rejection !!!!.
What do u think guys?

With the non stability in the Middle East and the way some nationalities are treated in some arab countries, in addition to the economy failure in most of Europe, I'm willing to take that risk... Can you plan your future in Lebanon or any other arab country? I've been in Saudi Arabia for 4 years, do I like it? No. Will I ever like it? Of course not. That's my point of view... Make some money to able to start and just go there... You have to start somewhere you know. There is hierarchy for jobs levels, it's not like you're going to begin as a CEO as soon as you get there

this is one comment on the video:

"Juan Eduardo 3 weeks ago
Canada cannot accommodate more immigrants, we are full. The unemployment rate is over 8%, most jobs are meaningless, they are contract positions that offer no benefits and bad wages. I am a Canadian who left Canada because the employment conditions are terrible. I would never suggest that anyone immigrate to Canada, unless you plan to live on welfare.
Canada is also becoming a police state, much like the countries many immigrantrs are fleeing from."

When you receive the csq there's numero du dossier and numero de reference, the important one is the file number for updated documents after they issue the medical, I don't think anyone has ever used the reference number. As for the federal there's no reference number, only a file number generated(different from the csq) once you receive the AOR.

No one is expecting to go there and directly become CEO or be appointed a very good job on the spot. The issue is whether we are ever gonna have a job. Any job. The only available jobs there are low level ones, even you have competition on this kind of jobs from fellow skilled immigrants.

Isn't the flowery picture is a little overrated??!!!! Canadians whatever their level of civility and acceptance will consider us at some point as intruders that are taking all the vacancies. and benefiting from welfare, health care etc... Consider our Situation in Lebanon after the refugees came from Syria, aren't Lebanese complaining about the Syrian Presence and Economical, safety and job market situation. isn't a Canadian employer less likely to hire "foreigners" while there are many Canadian looking for jobs?

Its doesn't really matter, it depends on the personality of each person, I have lot of friends left there and got job.
the point to watch the video, is to see whats going on and to avoid being in the same situations.

but yes doctors pharmacist nurses some medical some engineers really in big trouble, Canada ruins their life.

But I want to know if Quebec is the same as Canada

Quebec has an area of 1.5 million KM2 with a population of 8 million, I think you'll find a job...

I have one manager in my previous company, he is Canadian from Jordan, csaade gonna understand what I mean.

He told me in Canada high positions are for Canadians and white,(as gulf European mostly take high positions) and they hire immigrants with low salaries to do their job and mostly low level.

but he advised me to immigrate to Canada.

we can establish our own business there, no need to search job, there are 200,000 Lebanese in Montreal, all are working, I believe Quebec is different

Hey guys

I believe that the currently problem now is not how to live in Canada and how to find a job,
but the outstanding problem now is how to endure 7 years of waiting to get the pr visa if everything were alright ( 3 years for Quebec part + 4 years for federal part).
If there is a chance for this dream to come true in reality after 7 years.
