Hello everybody here, I am new in your forum which I acceidently found,and found it awoersome forum.
I recieved QSC in may 2009, and as all of you my file transferred to Amman office in februrary, and i almost thougt ;Tht that i will be never in Canada, and 2 wks ago they sent me medical and request to pay 490 CAD, and called me from embassy to assure that i am still want to process my file, I answered of course, and I asked when it will be expected, she answered that after medicals and payement, it will be expected within 2 mo. So anyone got such emails recently from Amman office, and is it really what she told me.

Congrats!! But I think most of us are from the Beirut office now (previously Damascus). Hopefully soon we here good news like you did!

Also, Moon, my MP sent a request yesterday for an update, but she mentioned that the respond time is slow from Beirut VO and will call me as soon as she knows something! I'm crossing my fingers it's good news!

Great news! I'm really happy for you =))). Finally... some good news. My file is processing in Amman, it was transferred in February too. Let's hope that in the next few months they will contact me too.

I noticed in a different forum (2010 Quebec applicants from Damascus visa office) are now receiving their interview dates for May. I would think this suggests that we might hear good news regarding the medicals. Because if they are giving away CSQ wouldn't they want to finish processing applicants who already have the CSQ?

Guys, great news...I just spoke to a friend of mine in Lebanon who's brother applied to Quebec 3 months before my fiance. Well he got his medical in late January. By the way, this isn't a friend of a friend of a friend...it's my direct friend...so it's not a rumour! So it means the end is near!!!

I got my medical more than a year ago..... I am not a friend I am MYSELF .....
InshAllah we will hear good news soon.... Or bad news since this anticipation is deadly, we want clear answers in order to know what to do with our lives...

I am a new joint from Iraq, i got my CSQ in March 2011 and i provided the fediral part in June 2011 in Dammas, by the web i understood that iraqis files were transfered to AMMAN visa office. When i varified my case in thier web, i see that it is "application recived" without any mention that my file was transfered to AMMAN office or not. I preferes to do a table for applicants of Ammqn visa office.

I understand what you feel, the hardest thing in life is waiting and keep on waiting to hear some good news, especially after medicals, waiting for a visa stamp on your passport, for a decision to be made.
I am really sad about your case, especially that many applicants who have undergone their medicals after you, they had their visas. I believe that you should order your caips notes and send emails to the embassy, it's really frustrating.
maybe this delay is because the decision about your medical were made from damascus, the others who has got their visas after medicals, the medical were requested from beirut. or you maybe have not completed 36 months after getting the federal number

I think you should order your CAIPS notes too and hopefully it will provide you with more info as to why you haven't received your visa when others have. From what I understand from the MP I spoke to, each visa officer is assigned files, this is why theres a difference in processing times. However, if it has been longer than 36 months, I would try to follow up! Goodluck, and hope you hear good news soon!
