Quebec applicants 2010(Damascus) waiting for medicals

Hello everybody....
It's my first post here, but I was reading your posts to get any news you know from the Canadian Embassy.
Congratulations for all who got the visa or who got some news from the embassy.
I got the CSQ on 15 /07/2010. Applied for PR in Damascus on 8 Aug 2010. My file was transferred to Amman on 21 Feb 2012.
Until now, I haven't received anything from the embassy. Is there anybody who has a file in Amman?

Really congratulations Randski. Hope the best for you.

But it is really weird how CIC operates?!!! CIC requested your medicals on 16-08-2012. CIC reuqested mine in Feb 2012.

In addition, my medicals were requested even though some of the friends here applied before me in a couple of months . it is a mystery how the Canadian embassy operates.

Please once there, keep us updated about life, work situation etc...

Congratulations Randski,, It’s good news to hear that there are some movement of the embassy in Beirut, I hope to hear any movement from Amman office too..
Quebec11: me also I haven’t receive anything from Amman office so far , hopefully will hear something very soon..

Thanks Moon, i hope that we will all get it in 2013. i think if 1 visa in the QSW category has been issued then others will roll. as for the medicals, who applied before who is not relevant because i think they are giving visas for the people who got their CSQ first

I think now processes back to normal status, its gonna run fast.
Delay was applied on everyone, as some of you know that i am on waiting list for interview
I am waiting since 2 years 3 months, same delay applied on you guys.

Quebec and federal werent able to manage the big number of applications

Processing Times IN MONTHS (based on a complete application package) 36 months Beirut (Lebanon). I have the last 11 months to pass medical exam and to get visa. I hope to have good news from embassy soon, nchallah ya rab

does the 36 months processing time includes the time to get the csq? or just the federal part

i applied for federal on august 2011/ and till now on my ecas it shows only
"We received your application for permanent residence on August **, 2011."

When i sent an email to beirut office few months ago , they told me that my application is in queue for assessment by an officer

does anyone knows when it will be in process ( approximately number of months) and anyone has the same timeline as me

hy winni yes i am like you i sent an email to beirut they sent me my file n\umber an telling me to wait for an officer but i har good news that they start giving visa its a good news

These processing times only apply to the federal part of the processing (at the visa office) once they have received the complete application. It does not include the time it takes for the province of Quebec to process the Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ).

i have a question for you , and kindly waiting for your answer because it's important for me
i have got the CSQ on 01- decembre 2010, in damascus and on 12,decembre 2010 i received my file number whitch begin with B......... for federal next step. later i checked on cic site and i saw that my file was transferred to embassy of canada in lebanon on 22.february 2012 and till now i didn't receive anything related to my file, since when i wrote an email for them they replied: Veuillez noter que le dossier en question sera en cours de traitement par l’agent des visas. Notre bureau vous contactera quand d'autres documents ou informations seront requis afin de compléter votre demande ou lorsque votre dossier aura atteint une certaine étape qui nécessite plus d’action de la part du requérant.
and till now nothing more
so my question for you is if you may to write your processing time from date of getting CSQ and date of transfer to lebanon and next step u have passed , because i see that your applications is almost like mine by the date , it's important , thx you ,
