your application is not the oldest one ... my application filed in 2008 after csq....
i got my first ppr in 2011 when i was in aus .. i sent my passport by mail and they returned it without a visa stamped on it. and then embassy closed and after the misery of waiting ....
but i got the second med in feb 2013 and i am waiting for the second ppr wa inshallah ma tkoun el tailteh failteh ...lol

do you know if your file is still in Beirut? because I know someone who received his visa and he did his medical test in Feb. 2013 too. So yours should be within weeks....if its still in Beirut.

yes, my file is still in beirut 100% ... hopefully, they will request my passport within 2 months...

I am just afraid if my medical is still in france after more than 5 months from the date of the medical done because of the strike..

no, unfortunately... there is no way to know ... other than asking a mp or requesting caips notes
and what i am sure about is that before 5 weeks, my medical were still in france and my medical have not been received by beirut office.
finger crossed, they received my med lately.

hopefully...can't you write them an e-mail or letter asking about it? Maybe ask them if you can re-do it since now it's a lot faster with just the uploading of the medical.

I sent an email asking about my medical 2 months ago .. to redo it with the new system by using the bar code if it's lost..
i have not heard anything from them yet

yes but in some circumstances things will become complicated if during this time you get married and probably have children , you can't put you life on hold till you get the visa and not to mention the delay time to add your wife to the whole process ; if she want to immigrate in the first place :-\

Hi please help, awal mara on this forum. I received my CSQ in 2010 and my federal file was opened in March 2011.


My file was transferred to Bucharest in March this year.

Any idea when the medicals for MARCH 2011 may start ??

The last thing I recall was that they were processing December 2010 applicants during July

Yup. They r welcoming me for 7 hours in Frankfurt. Plus it takes more time cause I'm flying from Saudi Arabia

time will fly, just shop around. I spent almost 12 hours there last time because my flight was late by 15 minutes and there wasn't any other flights to Beirut until late at night.

And...I got stuck helping a crazy old Lebanese lady who kept swearing and smoking inside the airport and couldn't speak english...I tried to make sure ppl didn't think I was with her LOL
