I'm pretty sure they'll ask him to show up at the beirut embassy, it's only a matter of printing a visa and putting it on the passport. Not everyone is willing to send a passport by mail to Europe, it might get lost... Just pray that the situation stays stable in Leb

From your typing fingers to God's ears LOL...hopefully...I guess we can't do anything excep wait and see. So do you think they will stamp the passport at the Beirut Embassy or will he need to send his passport by mail to Romania?

i think it's better to organise a trip for a few days in Romania and Get the visa there. I wont send my passport by mail ! If something worse happened in Lebanon , bye bye passport ! Ya Reit we can know when we'll Get the visa to make an early reservation

One of my colleagues in work have been received the visa today.

He did the interview in turkey (Aug – 2012) and he send the federal file from Abu Dhabi in the same month.

He received the medical request on Feb-2013.

On 25-May-2013 Medical received.

On 28-May-2013 passport request.

On 10-juin-2013 visa issued.

So it takes only 10 month and not 31 like before

i also waited 31 months for my csq interview, its same you all got your csq with 6-9 months
over all we all waited 4 years

Yes from what I read, in some cases they are sent in the diplomatic mail so it won't get lost.
