Hi guys ! There’s a big gap now between the moment they receive the CSQ applications and when they charge your credit card and issue the AOR. They received mine on December 9th 2019 and my credit card was only charged on January 21st 2020 (same date for my AOR), so almost 2 months after. Given the pandemic situation, I believe there could even be a longer delay to consider.
You mean given the pandemic they have another excuse to delay their process and keep us away from our loved one

Hello, where did you see this?

All I could find was:
Is the Ministère de l’Immigration, de la Francisation et de l’Intégration (MIFI) still processing applications for permanent selection?
The Ministère is continuing to process applications for permanent selection, regardless of the program under which they were submitted. Currently, the government as well as all ministries are mobilized to slow the spread of the virus and limit the impact of the unprecedented crisis we are facing. The government measures implemented over the last few days to respond to the current situation could affect application processing times.

Until May 19, 2020, there will be a suspension in the processing of some applications, and the application process has changed for

visitor visas (including transit visas)
eTAs
study permits
work permits

Mine is for spousal sponsorship you scared me!
No what im trying to say is that they are saying they will resume all the applications on that date. Does it mean that we will start receiving updates starting from May 19? Will they resume all their work like they normally do?

quebec started lifting its measure yesterday. In Montreal though businesses are gonna remain closed until may 18th at the earliest.
I wouldn't hold my breath for the CSQ this administrationdoesn't want immigrants and they are doing their best to slow down and delay applications. They don't care. I am expecting delays of at least a year for applications that were recieved in november on. I wouldn't be surprized if they started denying applications using covid 19 as an excuse. I called today and the agent told me that they cannot update their website because they do not have access to their offices and that they are working from home which means that processing will be much slower. it does not look good Im sorry to say. I sent my application in December and I don't think I'll get it before the end of the year.

I know the current administration is against all immigration but its not completely up to them to decide whether we migrate or not, we could have done our applications as inland and request an open work permit but we decided to stay home and do it this way. We and our sponsors have signed so many papers that they will fund us for all these years and we cant ask for social assistance and to be honest i don't think anyone is leaving their home country to go ask for welfare. We want to go with our spouses and live a better life and do things and not just stay and be non productive members of society. Legault doesn't look very ‘’first nation’’ he is of immigrant origin so he can kiss our a@@@s we will enter legally in canada either he likes it or not. What else did the rep you talked to say? Was she / he polite or answered with the classic snobbish attitude ?? Im in the batch that they are supposedly working on at the moment and its freaking me out!!!!
I am trying to be optimistic .... hopefully they will update their website soon.

the agent I talked to was very rude actually all the agents I talked to are always rude as if they are doing us a favor by answering the phone. He only said that my application is in process so its not done yet and that it is impossible to give an estimate and that they are working from home because of covid 19 and that is causing the files to be processed much slower. His words were ( ça prends beaucoup plus long temps maintenent ) and that they cannot update their website because they cannot go to the office. It sounded like they are doing nothing at the moment and we just have to wait. I am gonna file a complaint my file is almost 2 years old now and I cant go back to my country nor my common law can come here. I wish I never came to Quebec.
It saddens me so much to read that you wish you never came to Quebec. Alas, I understand your frustration. I think that overall, Quebec is a welcoming society and can be a great place to immigrate. The problem is the current administration and the overwhelming bureaucracy and inefficiency at all levels of the provincial government. I have found the federal process with IRCC to be quite efficient, actually. The sole problem is MIFI. Calling the agents on the phone is useless. We need to bypass these agents and file official complaints to get things moving. These are the official ways to do this:

1. Submit an official complaint to Commissaire aux plaintes - MIFI (official way to submit a complaint to MIFI)
http://www.mifi.gouv.qc.ca/fr/ministere/commissaire-plaintes.html

2. Contact the Commissaire aux plaintes' representative at MIFI. You can also contact this person to officially request information on your application if you cannot obtain this information through the call center. If you do not get at reply, to can contact the Commisaire de l'accès à l'information.

3. Contact your provincial MNA (our politicians are supposed to help us in these situations). Find your local MNA here:

@BahratFL : You refer to a post about filing a complaint with https://ombudsmandemontreal.com/en/ . You can try, but this is the ombudsman for the municipal government. Perhaps filing a complaint with the provincial ombudsman would be more effective. The provincial equivalent would be:

4. File a complaint with the provincial ombudsman
