sorry guys after preliminary review of your application what type of letter can someone get from BIQ office?

U can get a letter with ur file number telling u that ur file is in process,or u can be asked for supplementary papers if ur file is not complete.

Is ok sometimes they send a second AOR confirming u they received ur documents...Good luck
Can i ask what kind of documents did they asked for?

I don't think that such kind of letter is for 2nd AOR because if there was any 2nd AOR I would have already received it for my DELF B1 certificate.
Anyhow thanks for that input.

If in the online assessment you are eligible with basic french then start now attach your inscription slips with the application..explaining that u have stated learning french!!..

U can send ur aplication now, they will need around 1 year to call u for an interview.In this 1 year u can learn french, if u learn in daily basis and u really want to rich a good level u can do it.When i send my aplication last year i specified my level of french 8/8 which means B2/B2 and i knew no word of french.Now i am still waiting for the interview, i did the TCF and obtained C1/B2!!
So courage , u can do it!!! do not wait, they can any time change the rules.Good Luck

in 2010 , me cleared my Ielts wid 7 bands(academic)
in 2010 , I cleared my masters in english (distant learning) though i enrolled in 2006
somehow I will manage the funds......
I have joined 2 months basic french course...n will join d odr level just aftr finishng dis...
I am single, 28 years age

Sonia what do u mean by b.com ?? is an university degree?

Ok..if u have university degree and master u will get 12 points ; 8 points for work experience;16 points for age;French u should declare 7/7 which is a B1 level and gave u 8 points; let's say 5 points for english..so u will get a total of 49....u need a minimum of 42 to be called for a interview...so is v good.after u will get 1 point for contract d'autonomie financiere,u have 50 points!Now u need more 5 points in order to get the visa.U can obtain them in the interview if u are well prepared,the maximum u obtain in the interview for Adaptibility is 6 points.
So u can do it good luck, but work hard with ur french.U should rich minimum B1 level.

B1 level is enough for u but for sure a B2 is better and better. U need to study french around 1 year in Centre Culturel Francais (CCF).
They are 6 levels A1-A2-B1-B2-C1-C2.To complete each level u need 4 month couse each level is divided like this (A 1.1 & A 1.2 to finish the entire A1; after u have A2.1,A2.2,A2.3 to finish the entire A2; B1.1,B1.2,B1.3,B1 Action to finish the entire B1.At this point so after 1 year u can make the exam TCF Quebec and obtain B1 or even more if u study in parallel at home.If u really want u can do it.Good Luck
