@ ricoluna...thnx 4 replyn so fast....

dear ma consultant made ma point lyk dis way

qualification - 12
experience - 8
age- 16
english- 6
basic french - 2
profile- 12
in total -56

is this d wrng evaluation??? what is profile here???? you havnt included this
Sonia i sow u have posted the question in another forum too and they answered u the same. But the guy told u that for english u get 6.5 or more, there is nothing more than 6 points in english which is maximum.Iprefered to give u 5 points to be in the safe side.Is not good to take the maximum, let them appreciate. So once again there is nothing called Profile u get points for.So in application u should choose ur french level 7/7 and get a B1. I'm here for further questions

and one more thing...u should have minimum 42 points to be called for an interview and after this u get 1 point for funds and points for children if u have.As u are alone and no children u will get 1 point and ur total will be 50.To pass further u need minimum 49 points, u have them.To get the visa u need

55 points...so during the interview u can get more 6 points for adaptability. In ur case u need 5
I think i was enough clear.
Good luck

Good morning...ufff u are all so silent!!!Anyone has any updates??

Dear all,

This is my first time to write to u, though I was following ur forum "every now & then" since almost a year now, KIA, good job, it was great to start this forum in the first place. I can see this forum is not only providing us with information, but more works as a support group as well, which we all need here.
I was really enriched with every body's message & comment, and I'm happy to see RICOLUNA taking over after Kia became busy, keep it up Ricoluna best wishes for ur coming baby.

mef, Shahi, Iceberg7 and kbGold thanks a lot to you too, and to everybody as well.

Well, about my case, I live in Kuwait, I sent my application on October 2010, file # received on January 2011, yet no interview or documents required.
According to the normal time frame, my interview should be taking place between July & September 2011. But now you know what is happening in the whole Middle East, "especially Syria now".
I called the embassy in Syria twice at the end of the last month "May". They confirmed what u were saying in the forum, yes, it is closed now and everything is moved to Montreal. So!! .. let's pray things don't get worse or delayed!!

Just thought to share with you,

Have a wonderful day,
akramsam

Welcome between us,
Yes is normal, and do not forget that now they closed the embassy in Damascus, they will be a little late till they will send the AOR.Do not worry, u have nothing to worry now, just wait and be patient. hey will take around 12 month or even 15 before they send ur request for medicals..Good luck

HI everybody. I have applied to Quebec in October 2008 and got my interview and CSQ in June 2009. Applied for Federal part on July 2009 and my application is in process since August 2009. I have been waiting for medical forms since then. It is about 21 months, do you guys think it is normal???
I appreciate your advice.

I think for the applicants before October 2009 should be normal because their cases take longer time than the applicants who applied after the changes took place in the immigration program of Quebec.

Did u checked ur status online??? Even if u applied before , i mean in 2008 rules, is still v long time between CSQ and medicals??? Try to write them an email.I have my sister's husband, they applied in 2006 , had their interview in 2009 september and last year thy get the visas.
So it took 1 year between CSQ and medicals.Definitly u should call them

Welcome Akram and good luck with ur process. What about ur french level, did u sent any results of french with ur application?? We are all waiting and praying , let's hope Montreal offices will work better and the things will turn good for all of us.

Hello

Hope all goes well for all of u!!

Shahi

Thanks Ricoluna,

No, I didn't send any results for French exam yet, but I'm still studding.
Well, about my French level, right now both me & my wife in (A2+), we will finish it by the end of this month, then we'll start the first level in B1 (B1 has 3 levels in the institute where I study)!!! This is strange for me, coz as far as I know, everywhere, each level from A1 to - C2 has only 2 sub-levels!!

Anyways, studding French is very amusing for me; I really love the language itself. In our case (A2) is enough for us.. But I prefer to study more and be in the safe side.
Then, later I might go for exam. Do you have any advices??!!

Thanks again, God bless,
Akram

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God
