I am applying from Dubai . by myself .. NOC falls under Financial and Investment Analysts (NOC 1112)

not really optimistic about being accepted under Quebec immigration programme to be honest as i dont know one single French word, just wanna give it a chance since i dont qualify under the federal one..good thing they did nt ask so far for any missing document , not sure if this is a good thing or not , lets wait and see ..

As Kia & the guys told you, you have a very good chance..go on and apply without any hesitation.
Concerning the french, start to learn it..it's not that difficult to learn. Show them willingness to mingle in Quebec society..culture..language..and they will definitely welcome you :)

it's been now exactly 4 months since i have sent my initial application to biq damascus and no response till now is there any one applied in nov to biq Damascus and received an aor ????

As you know the political situation in Middle East countries including Syria is not certain, in this situation Immigration offices should flexible and complete application process as quick as possible.

Syria is continuously unrest.

Shall we wait for one year or two year or more?
Can we wait for so long in this situation?

what is your opinion friends? what should we do?

Some have called BIQ in Damascus and had the information that they work with only 10% of their capacity due to the current circumstances and working for one day per week.
 
Only 1 day per week?? ufff that means that we'll have to wait longer now?? But i don't think so, as i have read that the next interview sessions will be between 29 mai - 14 july, one mission only, but from 5 june to 14 july ther will be 2 missions! Which is good i belive.I think all July and august applicants will have the interviews around this dates!!Nshallah

I know tens of Iranian from BIQ Damascus who have file number of August , September and even some of them October and have interview in the month of May , June and July respectively.

I am waiting for interview or any news from Damascus. My all savings are in a bank. I am not investing anything anywhere just because of Canada. I am worried about the situation in GCC. If immigration office could finalize their decision quickly, I/ we can think for the next step.

No waiting list mail.

So, it's 7-week time from now till the interview date...
and I TRULY DEEPLY UNBELIEVABLY IN DESPERATE NEED FOR MANY MANY MANY PRAYERS..
SO YOU GUYS HAVE TO SORT IT OUT..SHIFT ON IT OR WHATEVER..I JUST WANT TO GET LIFTED UP BY UR PRAYERS BY MAY 26!
