Good news. I am glad to read that you receive AOR.

I received AOR in OCT 2010. They asked to resubmit a form and an experience letter. I sent both documents in Nov 2010 and till date waiting for document confirmation.

I think I had the wrong idea by thinking that you were still waiting for your AOR, well good to hear you already have it. What is generally the next step after they charge your payment? I am thinking it would be the AOR, right?

AOR is actually a letter. As I informed you, I received it in 28th OCT 2010 with a File number (They mentioned 13th OCT 2010 date on the letter). In this first letter they required some documents within 3 months to process my application. I sent required documents on 04th Nov 2010. Now I am waiting for a confirmation for document update from Damascus office.

Now I have some questions:

1. Is second AOR/ file update confirmation important?
2. Should I send another update or wait for first confirmation?
3. Should I start tracing my letter reached to them or not?
4. Or might be they sent a letter but it did not reach to me.

Let me get involved here:

After i got my AOR and started waiting for my interview letter, 3 months passed without any news, I called Quebec in Damascus and asked about any update, they informed me that they were trying to send me confirmation by fax but the results always error, when I asked them about my fax no. that they were trying to send through, I discovered they were using my mobile no. as fax......

I gave the the right fax no. and got the interview confirmation letter.

After I received my CSQ and attended the interview in Damascus in Last October 2010, I received their letter by mail after 1 full month during November.

Call them and find more.............

I need to know that whether we have to send all the "copies" of our work experiences and internships certificates attested by legal authority or do we have to send the "original" certificates of them for quebec immigration?

Dear mef,

I received one and half pages long letter from Damas office. An important paragraph after F>E translation, I would like to paste here:

"We confirm the opening of your file and send the return receipt showing the collection of charges for the processing of your "Certificate Application selection>> Quebec.

Your file is queued for processing. You will receive a first mail from us that will complete the preliminary examination.

Here are the different stages of the selection process for skilled workers:

* The preliminary examination
* Convening a meeting
* The interview selection"

I recently received my PG degree. I am planning to send it at the end of March with French language certificate. My first level French course will complete in the last week of Mar 2011.

Should I send these documents to Damas office? or wait for a their next mail?

The same letter we received my G/F & I which i called 2nd AOR....................

As soon you get your french certificate, send it out immediately........ don't wait for there next mail....

---------- After only 40 days from submitting our application for PR to Canada Embassy in Abu Dhabi, we have received yesterday a letter confirming our file opening and the receipt of our Bank Draft of CAD 1,100.00

The letter confirmed that the next step shall be criminal backgroud - security - check and right after will be the medical test...... it syas the processing time from 6-9 months....

We are so happy ------------ flying, celebrating.....

I have received my AOR in Sep2010 , no docs or more infor were provided in the letter . since that time i have nt heard anything back from them , Looking at some of this forums applicants timelines it does nt look my application falls at the same time range . you think this is normal or shall i contact the Immigration office in Damascus . My AOR date is exactly one day before yours. Could you tell me have they communicated the interview timings to you yet? Is your of training in the list of preferred area of Training who are given special treatment?

I've applied for FSW-NOC-1111 in 2009. everything was going well and as usual... but on 01/06/2010 I got my rejection letter from Singapore and after that I was vary shocked at this decision. As an Accountant with pure commerce background and having excellent job experience in Biggest and prestigious organisation my job responsibilities do not satisfy the stupid V.O. but one thing I know is that When One door closed, many doors is opned" for real devotees and I think I have that passion to go to my dream country..

Now I decided to apply once again to Quebec but don't have any idea/ experience/ even I don't know the total process..
my details are as follows:

Education: 16 yrs. Spouse-16 yrs. with post graduation
Age: 33 Spouse-26
IELTS: R-6.5, L-6, S-6, W-4.5 and overall band-6
French- (to be admitted in intensive courses)
Job exp. 5 yrs. spouse- N/A
Profession: Executive, Accounts & Finance
DOB: 01/01/1978

My question to you my Honorable seniors is that, HOW CAN I START? AND WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW??
If I start any Intensive course under Alliance Francise in my country (Bangladesh) then which would be my interview place? inside my country or outside my country?

Pls. Seniors help me help me...help me to grow my dream once again.....
I am desperate to go with you in my Dreaming land Canada any how.. any way...
