CAN YOU PLEASE EXPLAIN ME MORE?

FOR YOUR INFORMATION THESE ARE THE CORRESPONDECES I HAVE RECEIVED FROM EMBASY UNTIL NOW:

1. AOR
ACKNOWLEDGING THAT THEY HAVE RECEIVED MY APPLICATION WITH MY FILE AND REF NUMBERS

2. LETTER FOR ACKNOWLEDGING THAT MY PAYMENT HAS NOT BEEN PAID CORRECTLY BY MY CREDIT CARD

THEN I SENT THEM A MONEY ORDER AND BY RETURN I RECEIVED THE 3RS LETTER

3. LETTER INFORMING ME THAT THEY HAVE RECEIVED MY PAYMENT AND MY FILE IS UNDER STUDY

4. LETTER FOR INVITATION TO INTERVIEW

AND DURING THE INTERVIEW THEY WILL HAND IN YOUR CSQ

Kia,

Friend, thanks a ton for your reply.

I sent my application in August 2010. Received AOR in October 2010. They asked for an immigration form and a letter from my current employer. I sent both documents on 22nd October 2010. Till date I did not receive any AOR for last update. In the first AOR they mentioned that if I will not send required documents within 90 days, they will cancel my application for further process.

ahha ...

so still its normal u have sent your last letter on 22 October and we are in December still everything seems normal to me according to the pressure of application they have right now

dont worry
its the way i am thinking about your file STATUS ...

Kia,

Thank you very much. Actually I am worried because I sent documents by normal mail (no register/ no courier). After this mistake I realized that I can not track my mail at all. Next time I shall use registry mail only.

Many Congrats KIA, you deserved it and thanks again for starting and keeping this thread alive, great to hear you succeed.

So now, what is next for since you have your CSQ, how long before you expect to land?

Thanks izminhas

it is said from the time u apply for federal until landing it should take about 18 months however depending ur CSQ points ur procedure may be shortended althoug i think i have about 60 points - less - and i should count on the same 18

Kia,

Thanks for your response. So I guess the most time is still taken by the federal since Quebec seems to be processing the application within a year.

Hi Kia and Others.

as for the federal process...although i dont know much..i think the processing time depends on the country specific visa office...for eg New Delhi takes 5-7 months to finish it..i guess tht is reasonable!!..

Good luck to all!

Hi Shahi,

I would agree to that since I just happened to be looking at the processing times earlier. You are right, for Delhi it is quite reasonable (8 mons.) and for Damascus it states around 18 mons, so Kia is right on that one as well.

Yup IZMinhas...agree with u ..

Hello

I received CSQ in March 2010
I have Applied for PR around the end of March 2010 and received a Acknowledgment that my application is received.

I check E-cas -> There is still nothing after ~9 months now. And no news after the payment and Application Acknowledgment.

My Local Office is Damascus. Processing time is stated to be Max 18 Months and now i am in the middle of that and still No news!!

Any idea guys?

Regards

Nice to see you here and thanks for sharing information here ...

Can you please let us know what is your NOC Code and how much score you may have acquired within the interview?

I think (guess) above may affect the times they put for processing however a friend of mine, her CSQ dated Oct 2009 still has not received her medical confirmation.

Your Friend passed without interview?? i read on this forum that some people are still waiting (above 6 years) after submitting med examination... if that is the case one will certainly plan his life accordingly

Any comment about the NOC?
