Make sure that you have the originals, they are very strict.
We are put on the interview list 20 days ago. How long did you wait from that point to the interview invitation?

Hi djolens1 ..
I think mft25 is right as the officer will have ALL my original papers with him already, so I will take only the copies and add the originals for the copies only!!
As far as my interview, that took about 3 month between their email that I was on the waiting list AND 2 days ago when they emailed me back about my interview .. but if you want to add the period when the interview will take place then that would be total of 5 months or so from the notice till the actual date!

Thanks again,
Peace.

hi ThunderBird11
congrats for the interview after this long time. regarding you paper do not panic everything you sent before will be with the officer in your file. so all original documents will be there just bring the original docs of the copys and copies of original just in case. by the way you should not sent all original since begining becasue they only need copies.
best of luck

Hi mft25 ..
Thanks for the advice, I will follow it of course ..
I'm not sure if I should confirm them back that I'm attending the interview because they mentioned ONLY to email them back if I won't be able to attend .. but I'm afraid if I didn't email them back that I'm attending, I will ended up without any interview hehe

Thanks again,
Peace.

Can you please share with us what they ask you to bring with you to the interview. Can you paste that section of an e-mail?

Should you bring only originals of documents sent, or you need to certificate and translate new documents related to your work experience after submitting an application?

Hi djolens1 .. Of course I can .. here you go:

PEACE ..

dear ThunderBird11
Do not worry i am sure of that 100% . when i did my interview every single paper i sent to them was infront of me inside a file with the officer. so you need to bring copy of original you sent before just in case something is missing which is i doubt it. let me be straight he will focus on your university certificate and the one with grades that you sent original before. this is the most important document that you have already sent original while you should not. also the social security is very important

hi
you should bring all original documents of all copies you submitted before . regarding work certificate bring new one original written in english no need to translate or anything . but again they will count work experience with our social security paper orginal to prove your work

Hi mft25 ..
In my case there's NONE ..
They're attaching everything in a PDF file telling me to inform them if I DON'T NEED to attend and why?
But there's nothing about if I need to attend ...
I will call them mostly today and confirm that ..
I mean worst case scenario, I can reply back to the email with a simple:
Yes I will attend the interview.

Peace.

I agree and this is what I intend to do >> I will take:

1- Passport
2- New Original Work Experience (In English) from my current Company
3- New Daman Work certificate (I already sent them the original translated 3 month ago, but I can do that again)
4- My Original University Degree

And copies of the rest of the papers which I still have of course with me.

Peace.

Yesterday, first time a recruiter from Montreal interviewed me online. It was an online meeting more that an inerview. The first question she asked about my immigration status. She was so surprised when I informed her that I am waiting since 2010 (CSQ) / 2013 (Federal). She has not offered me for any position yet, however, she sent me some wonderful documents. I hope these documents are very useful for me to prepare for Quebec.

First document she sent a CV template which they sent to their clients.
Second a guide to find an accomodation in Montreal
Third their company profile

Very sad part is that ADVO is too slow.....slower than the slowest turtle of the world....

Hi everybody,

QSW
I have recently done my Medical exam with family and waiting for PPR.

Can I show my property document in my country at Montreal Airport with cash/ bank draft?

I did my medical exam in Oct 2014. When can I expect passport request? or interview or anything else?

THanks,

Sami

Hi,
PR is usually 7-10 months after medical, unless you have other problems in your application. as for papers, you don`t need to show anything at Montreal airport. just to declare the amount if it`s more than 10,000CAD, and notify them if you still have to ship other properties to Canada later on.
