PR is usually 7-10 months after medical, unless you have other problems in your application. as for papers, you don`t need to show anything at Montreal airport. just to declare the amount if it`s more than 10,000CAD, and notify them if you still have to ship other properties to Canada later on.

Horrible! My application reached at Abu Dhabi office in April 2013. I need if somebody coudl share some realistic timeline. My police certs of two countries submitted almost 1 year ago. They sent travelling (5524) form in Mar 2014.

don't worry man,apolo said that because his VO is Bucharest and he thinks that all VO has the same strategy for processing files,he got his medical at first then they did security check for him and it lasted about 7-8 months after his medical to get his ppr, now since ur vo is Abu dhabi,it means u will receive ur ppr within 2 or 3 months maximum after ur medical,coz strategy abu dhabi is completly different than bucharest,it is security then medical,Bucharest's strategy for exclusive Lebanese applicants was medical then security,the strategy bucharest for us(amman,iraq and syrian's applicants) now is security then medical, so don't worry my dear,ur ppr will be within 2 -3 months maximum.

My wife was suffering with a seasonal eye disease when we go for medical exam. She was perfect in eye sight test. I asked doctor if there will be any problem or delay because of her eyes. Doctor said it is seasonal and very common. Her photo was not OK due to very red and swelling eyes. My daughter was also suffereing with the same.

After few days they were perfectly OK.

1. Is there any issue in medical for that? delay or anything?

this is allergic(seasonal)conjunctivitis ,almost people have this condition and it is normal such arterial hypertension or rhinitis,so don't worry my dear,it will not any delay,just relax, what is ur ecas status?application received or in process?

Yesterday, first time a recruiter from Montreal interviewed me online. It was an online meeting more that an inerview. The first question she asked about my immigration status. She was so surprised when I informed her that I am waiting since 2010 (CSQ) / 2013 (Federal). She has not offered me for any position yet, however, she sent me some wonderful documents. I hope these documents are very useful for me to prepare for Quebec.
First document she sent a CV template which they sent to their clients.
Second a guide to find an accomodation in Montreal
Third their company profile
Very sad part is that ADVO is too slow.....slower than the slowest turtle of the world....

Great news KbGold .. would you be able to share the CV template? Probably I can follow that in my preparation for my CSQ interview!!

All Fellas ..
I'm still preparing for my interview ..
I did my reservation already for the Flight and the Hotel ..
From Thursday February 5 ( @ 7:00 AM) till Friday February 6 ( @ 7:00 PM) using Turkish airlines and I will spend 2 days/ 1 night at Sheraton Hotel and Convention Center where the interview will take place ..
I talked to my Immigration office which I am working with at first place, and they informed me that I need to fill some new forms but I will do that in the middle of January 2015 (just to see if Quebec will change any regulations or will add any other forms) .. so I should be OK regarding that ..
They told me also to prepare everything I sent all over again AS ORIGINAL!!!
So I am preparing the list of copies, and I will start passing by my previous university, by the official country offices and my previous companies etc. to bring EVERYTHING all over again .. this is so frustrating but will do what it takes to finish the process successfully!!!
I'll keep you up to date as news keep coming!

The process took 10 month to get visa, from date I submitted federal application.
