no it is not mandatory to reach B2 in both speaking and listening, one skill B2 ( speaking/listening ) is enough to get 5 points and get 64 in total

Hello , i have a question if u can plz help me with this
i already applied for the csq in 2011 and received an email that they opened my file on 31/10/2011
this week i sent them an update : i added a family member(child) and the results of the tcf (A2)
will they study the file according to the new rules ? ( b2 is required) or the old ones, because when i applied it was not obligatory to submit the language test with the application

Thanks in advance

Hello guys, I have a question for those who have been to the selection interview. In the waiting list email they told us to start preparing and visit emploiquebec.net
When I did I found out that I cannot register before having a CSQ in hand. How can I apply for jobs when I still don't know when my selection interview will be? Even if I get the CSQ inshallah, I don't know for how long I will have to wait to get the visa. What exactly do they want us to do to? What letters should I take with me to the interview as a proof that I did the job research?
Thanks.

nery .. even if you sent an update, nothing will affect the date of your application or the date that you received your file number/reference number .. and you'll be treated according to the rules back then (that applies to your date) ..
So the new language rules won't affect any old applicant who received his file number before August 2013 ..
You're safe :)
Peace.

And it will not be applied as well on applicants' applications before December 2011 ..
So ANA ZAMATET :P :P ;) hahaha
But I don't think this interview is 100% true .. it doesn't make any sense ..
If on CANADA website these rules are mentioned clearly, so the interviewer cannot use different rules.
And applicants can argue with the interviewer if he/she didn't put them notes on language .. this is their rights ;)
Peace.
