Hello Everybody,
I received an e-mail from biq.damas@micc.gouv.qc.ca stating that I have an interview on the 20th of September, this was 2 months ago
I made all my original papers as well as some researches, I have booked the ticket and the hotel
but the problem is that I heard from a relative that it's like a fraud, specially that the place of interview is Hilton ParkSA Hotel in Istanbul, Turkey.
I saw the e-mail sent to my relative, it is identical to the one I received except that the date of interview does differ
I am wondering, does Quebec Office make interviews in hotels ? did anybody experience that before?
In all cases I will take my chance and go for tourism, but I am just asking cause I dont wana get surprised

Didn't you confirm your interview by email or fax??
If you did so they have already got your confirmation and if there was a wrong they should have sent you an email about it

I advice you not to take this as a joke ... And I wonder what is the point that someone send a lie related to this subject !!...
And yes Ricoluna had her interview in a hotel ...
The interviews made by the canadian embassy around the world are held in hotels and not in the embassies.
Anw have a nice trip, concentrate and good luck with ur interview.

hi, what did your relative told you, i think she/he doesnt have any idea what this qsw is all about.. as long as the email came from the BIQ, just go through with it, i had my interview last july @ hilton parksa... just try to answer back in french as much as possible, print all your research in french NOT in english, or both... wish you GOODLUCK!

I am leaving in Bangladesh(Asia).I submitted my file on mid of March'2011 and received acknowledgement on 23 April'2011 after that respected authority completely silent till now!!!
I've completed my MBA (In Finance & Accounting) now I am doing ACCA. I am working in an International developing organization as Finance person and my working experience is five years. My spouse is a university lecturer and her education background is English. We both are qualified in DELF A/1. Now we are waiting for our TCFQ exam. We are waiting for CSQ!!!

Do you have any suggestion or experience please share with us

Sarkes first you have to apply for CSQ then after you pass your interview you will have to apply for federal
CSQ = you will be selected by Quebec and you will apply federal to Canadian government.

To apply for CSQ under new rules you must do first french and english tests and you must score 55 points, read more.

Well I contacted the Hotel and they confirmed there is an interview over there as you already mentioned, I really wana thank u all for the reply

If u mean AOR by Accuse de reception, well it was on November 2011, I sent the file on October 2011 directly to Montreal since biq damas was closed. My file number is DA 501XX
Regarding my relative feedback, at first I didn't take it seriously since she already applied via a lawyer whose office was closed due to fraudulent use. But then she did take back her file and applied in Biq Damas, and at the end she received an e-mail on March 2012 which is typically identical to the one I got (same sender as well: biq.damas@micc.gouv.qc.ca)...And she stated that she contacted the hotel and that they replied there is no interview at their premises. So this really shocked me and made me confused, as I already replied via e-mail and Fax regarding "Confirmation d'entrevue" as well as I already prepared my original papers.
Well thank you guys you gave me a peace of mind .... hehehe
Wish me Good Luck, and if there is any tips/hints regarding the interview, I will really appreciate.
And of course I will give you a feedback regarding my interview journey.

Wish you all the best and you will get CSQ, it seems your AOT is in priority list that is why you get your interview very fast.

Sarkes you have to work very well on your french and you will be accepted 100% with your wife .. (general overview) ..
Otherwise, from the info that you provided you are sure qualified for canadian immigration.

My advice … stays relaxed as possible, and you shouldn’t be afraid because surely your AOT is in high priority, otherwise you didn’t get this reply this soon …
Anyway keep in mind that they need you …
