Very good effort thunderBird11, please share us email address I'm also waisiting for my interview call which not yet receive :(.

Hello javeedislam, I used the same maghreb and moyent orient email address ..
But unfortuanltly they emailed me back about a link that directs to their website so I can use to contact them with those info ..
I'm not sure if this email address is no longer working for them ..
Anyway, I copied the same info and send them from their website, but I received later from them the same automatic reply that if the period time exceeded the one mentioned on their website and related to my country, THEN I can contact them ..
On the website, they still mentioning that they're treating November 2010 applicant for Lebanon, so I have to wait :( !!
But I tried also to call them, but they were hors des heures de travaille ...
So maybe I'll have to try later AGAIN :(
Peace.

Dear Thunderbird, I hope you will get an answer soon. They used to answer our emails in the past but I don't know what happened to them lately. In my opinion they MUST answer them because we paid the processing fees and have been waiting for ages. We have the right to know what is going on with our files and if there is anything missing or that needs to be corrected. We are trying to contact them because it is time for our files to be processed according to their waiting-times schedule. It seems that they are not doing anything because it has been more than five months without a word from them. We cannot keep waiting forever just to be told later that we don't meet the criteria or that we need to provide another document or, God forbid, that old files have been cancelled due to their huge backlog.

Hello msharafaldeen, you're absolutely right ... and 100% true for every word ..
The problem is that Canada is not used to that huge amount of immigrants people long way ago ...
And the truth is that their system is not very effective towards those new situations ..
And that's why they don't know how to deal with such situations, and the more sadness of this story is that they still didn't do anything to solve this!!!
They are still receiving new applications without being able to treat first the previous ones, and they are keeping us waiting and no one know anything, no one is responding, no one is replying to our emails except the automatic agent LOL
This is really frustrating to come from a country that it is suppose to be @ 1st stage ..
Peace.

I was right there are still 2010 applicants. and you are right buddy, should they still have to receive new applicants while in fact they are already having more than 2 years backlog?

The problem is only exist in Amman & Beirut office (damas) before and abudhabi .Other offices like Cairo for example only 14 months . Actually many got pr before 14 months . I think they should solve the disaster of damas office as soon as possible other wise the backlog will be unprocessable.

mft25 .. In my opinion they have this problem in everywhere ..
Even with issuing Canadian passports for the new citizens ...
In the past, the Canadian passport used to take max couple of months to be released after the citizen spend three years in Quebec/Canada ..
But now I have my friend who is in Quebec more than 5 years, applied to the passport and still waiting .. and when he contacts them, they tell him that he has to wait because they have a huge number .. too much work, backlog, many others etc ...
Many excuses for nothing!!
Peace.

No they mentioned that if your Nov 2010 .........
means they finished NOV 2010 and working on DEC 2010,

it depends when your application received, like I sent on 20 OCT it was received on NOV 2010 so I was considered NOV applicant ???

you guys are overrating this video.. it all depends on your planning before moving and networking. maybe it is a problem finding jobs and maybe thats why CIC introduced the new system. nonetheless that doesn't mean you wont find work there or be happy, it is just a more difficult and needs more hardwork and well ya competition is there and more fierce and you will encounter people who discriminate you (like all countries) but if you are qualified and you show some intent to get into the canadian system and work culture than nothing is impossible.... and this is in reality you are not used to in beirut.
