hallo everyone,

i applied to QSW to get the CSQ since May 2011 and i got my AOR in Aug 2011,i'm still waiting to be rejected or called for an interview or just get 60years old befor being contacted bi the BIQ damas.

can by chance get any information about cases with similar circumstances.

it was quiet easy the consultant -mid thirties senegali female - was sympa she focused on soial insurance payment and job looking in montreal and ofcourse equivalence of the diplomas also les valeurs communes du quebec it was quick the only bad thing about yesterday was the manifestation in istanbul made the police block the roads and make it difficult for me to be there by taxi i walked for 45 minutes to reach hilton parksa\s premises but after getting the CSQ no regret hope yo all pass your interviews see you in montreal

I sent an update to my application (Since i added my wife as an spouse applicant).

She wrote her name in the application form : XXXX XXXXI but when she applied for the passport she wrote it XXXX XXXXE.

I'm Really confused if this small difference in the last letter of her family name would make any problem later.. If any one has a clarifications related to this subject, Please help me ..

when i sent my CSQ file i had such an issue my name was written as charif while on other forms was cherif, my file was finalized and received the CSQ without any problem, in extrem cases they will ask you to clarify why there is difference..

No unfortunately I am still waiting. I am calling them from time to time but it is all in vain. Those agents who answer the phone don't know anything. They just say "you have to wait and we don't know for how long"

I emailed them 4 days ago, they replied to me that I need to use their website so someone can answer or check my application (seems the maghreb et moyent orient email is not helpful anymore!!) ..
So I followed the link which directs me to their website, I filled up the form and now I'm waiting their answer ..
They said that my letter has been received and they'll answer me in maximum 5 days (mais jour de travaille), so max wednesday I should have a response ..
Hope the needed response I get

Hello Jimmy80, did you get a File Number or not yet?
If not, this is really bad!
If yes, so you'll be called for an interview sooner or later .. but not now ..
YOU SHOULD WAIT!!

i received an AOR in Aug 2011 (numero de reference) which was mentioned on a letter with menioning that my file has been opened and it was complete, and since that time no communication.
since one week i sent to the BIQ Damas an e-mail and they reply in the same day mentioning that my case is in waiting stage what does it mean?

Nous ne pouvons vous donner de date approximative à propos de celle-ci.

Dear Thunderbird, I hope you will get an answer soon. They used to answer our emails in the past but I don't know what happened to them lately. In my opinion they MUST answer them because we paid the processing fees and have been waiting for ages. We have the right to know what is going on with our files and if there is anything missing or that needs to be corrected. We are trying to contact them because it is time for our files to be processed according to their waiting-times schedule. It seems that they are not doing anything because it has been more than five months without a word from them. We cannot keep waiting forever just to be told later that we don't meet the criteria or that we need to provide another document or, God forbid, that old files have been cancelled due to their huge backlog.

Hey jimmy80, this is unfortunately means that we are all in the same boat ..!!
You have to wait, wait and wait ??? :
This is an automatic email that we all got at our first stages ...
I emailed them 1 year ago to check on my file as well and I received the same email!!
So now it depends on your major ... if you are a computer science major or a business or in any other field, then you have to wait I think in my opinion like us (as I mentioned I am a December 2010 applicant and still waiting for my interview), but if you're majored in anything related to nursing or pharmacy or doctor etc .. then you'll get your interview very sooner ..
But hope at your time and the next applicants generation (LOL) will have other political and regional situation which will reduce the time of their applications
